Angel Game! KOKORO
"In a world where Angel Gamers are the modern day 'einherjar'..."
"Angel Game"--a game where you'll gain the ability to generate certain powers and elements with an elusive rune circle on the left palm of your hand--known as the Angel's Heart--something that no other humans can do.
However, to "play" the game; one must fit a single criterion--where all wielders of this power are required to have a certain "misfortune" in life. Players also have no control over whether to obtain or desire these powers by choice either, as the "Angel's Heart" can only mysteriously and spontaneously appear on the left palm of these unfortunates, often against their expectations.
In the year 200X, due to various cases of mishandling of powers, vandalism, and crimes--wielders of the Angel's Heart are now loathed by society and the government had to step in to limit Angel Game as a mere competitive sport--where Angel Game players can only use such powers against each other under monitored tournament conditions and rules, something the world is still debating whether it's the right decision to do knowing the prices the players had to pay to unwillingly obtain such powers...
Is it a gift for the unfortunate, or the cause of these misfortunes? Is it right or wrong to limit such powers that could revolutionize mankind for all eternity?
Just what is the true purpose of Angel Game, to this world...?

In addition, this is the first arc in which Kokoro and Kureha alternate as the main protagonist, with their own independent stories and viewpoints separated.3RD GAME: COUNTDOWN TO RAGNAROK
When the King leads everyone to their destined path, and the Reaper decides who lives or dies, that is when the battle begins. The reason for the Einherjars' existence comes to light with the rumored final war... Ragnarok.
Does this cursed Angel Game exist to mirror mythology...? Nobody knows, and everyone fears what the reality may be.
However, as time passes by--many have decided that there needed to be a change in "Angel Game", that may or may not affect it's position in this world forever.
This arc focuses on the debate between which organization shall take control of the future of Angel Game and how it affects the world: either it stays as a "game" and entertainment, or be applied to regular daily lives even to the extend of being utilized in war weapons--all decided through a nationwide-held Battle Royale tournament.
