Yuriel

With the burn of the rat's teeth still lingering in his mind, Yuri straightened and smoothed the edge of his collar. The temptation to throw Cilv into the nearest lake came back, the thought itching at the back of his mind as he tried to smooth the wretched twitch of fury from his face. It didn't easily go away. But once he thought it'd been perfectly smoothed off his face, (when in reality it was still present in the crook of his brow, and the glint of emerald and near neon in his eye) he turned the faintest smile towards the eh... angelic creature before him.

What a face.

How unfortunate. His smile quickly twisted into a frown at the words. "Excuse me?" His eyebrow twitched. Cilv beamed on his shoulder, lookit him the lil country bumpkin idiot. Watch him bumble. Watch him flop. Watch him make an attempt to charm someone's socks off. Lookit him the liddol idiot. Cilv seethed.

The words from the... thing before him went right over his head.

He twitched. "It might do you some good to know that I am a loyal witchfinder. And I am well known for my ability to get things done." Only if it was stabbing or suffocating mages. "I care because it's my job to care. And I enjoy a fight." He lifted his chin. "I am not the sort to run from a fight." The words left his throat in doubtless an attempted purr, though it sounded more like a cat choking on a hairball in all honesty. Yuri tsked and snatched Cilv from his shoulder, half tossing the rat at the woman. Cilv let out a startled squeak before clinging to Edison's clothes. "Take the rat yourself and run along. I'd be happy to be rid of it while I rightfully rid the world of this monster."
