Mind Scribbles

The sun stood high gracing the bustling market below in comforting warmth. His ears twitched ever so slightly at the sudden rise in volume, as the waves crashed against the Islands walls with unpredictable strength and laughter filled the air, vendors advertising their products left and right as travelling merchants and far away travelers joyously chatted amongst themselves. 

Lazily strolling down the street accidentally bumping into an unsuspecting victim once or twice, rutinly rising his hands with a embarrassed smile adoring his features almost like a second nature. Speaking words he did not mean, brushing past his smile imidiently splitting into an amused grin. 

,,Kehehe, can't they make it any easier?", hiding the recently caught wallets away in his pockets the hybrid laughed to himself as he mock bowed to a young girl and her family walking past. A twitch of his ears alerting the boy of a patrol nearing, avoiding eye contact the teenager tried to look as unsuspecting as possible, letting out a sigh of relief when the patrol ignored the boy for the most part. 

When,-

,,H...huh?! My wallet, my wallet is gone! Y...you there, you damn Hybrid come back here!!", the crowd suddenly erupted in a wave of angry shouts, effectively drawing the guards attention on the culprit hiding in plain sight. As if to mess further with an angry mob Nico stuck out his tongue before laughing and breaking out in a run. 

,,You need to catch me, if you want em' back!"
