Basic account settings

Your account settings can be accessed through the dropdown at the top right of the header by clicking settings

This puts you on the landing page for all your settings, and from here you can change

  • Your username (Once per month only)
  • Your active email
  • Your password
  • Your avatar (icon)

Display settings effect how things will appear to you on TH. These settings consist of:
  • Enable code editor: Enable/disable the HTML code editor for test fields
  • WYSIWYG settings: Enable and disable where the WYSIWYG editor appears, which includes toggles for all post types
  • Front page settings: Toggle what shows up on the front page, AKA what you see on toyhou.se when logged in.
  • Pagination: Choose how many characters you want to view per page, i.e. in a folder or while browsing.
  • Profile browsing: Includes multiple toggles for character and user profiles
    • Show custom CSS: Global enable/disable for character, world, and user CSS coding.
    • Show legacy layouts: Show legacy (old format) versions of character profiles who have them
    • Show profile warnings: Global enable/disable for user and character content warnings.
  • Site themes: Change from various color schemes. You can see the list of colours here
  • Content filters: Filter what you do/don't want to see. These include all of the filter tags, and you can choose to show them, hide them completely, or show them with a warning tag allowing you to click to see the full image.
    • When filtered, nudity is represented by a leaf, sexual content is represented by a heart, gore is represented by a droplet, and general sensitive content is represented by a caution symbol.

Interactions & alerts let you modify what notifications you receive and who can communicate with you and view what you post.

  • Guest block: Hides everything you post from users who are not logged in. Off by default
  • Quiet mode: Blocks communication and transfers from those who aren't on a set access list. They can still see what you post, but you won't be notified. Off by default
  • Notifications: Allows you to change whether or not you want to get notified for site updates and pings (people @ 'ing you). On by default
Profile interactions let you choose what people can comment on and/or favorite, as well as enabling/disabling notifications from these interactions.
