>User profile and folder settings

Located just under the basic settings for account management, you can find a variety of settings and toggles for your user profile, as well as character folders.

The profile content tab is mostly a WYSIWYG/HTML code editor field, and is the bulk of what your profile appears to be. There's a lot of flexibility here, and you can go as hands-on or hands-off as you want. You can enter whatever you want here, so go crazy. The HTML subforum has lots of profile templates, both F2U and P2U.

Below that, you can find settings to disable/enable visibility of certain profile aspects, such as recent characters and designs, featured characters*, bulletins, and how many comments you want to be visible.
To feature one of your characters on your profile, you just have to favorite the character in question and the featured block will choose one of your own characters you've favorited to show off.

Profile CSS & blurbs are a premium-only feature - meaning you must have a premium TH account to use them. You can still enter CSS or blurbs and save them, but they won't show up unless you have a premium account.

You can enter both profile CSS and global character CSS - your profile CSS will appear on your profile and on all of your folders (if said folder doesn't have CSS of it's own), and global character CSS will apply to all characters that don't have CSS of their own.

The profile and global character blurb are similar, in that they apply in the same places. Blurbs are a small section on your profile/character's sidebar, and you can change what they show with either WYSIWYG or the code editor. These can also be overridden for individual characters.

In a similar vein, CSS sheets allow you to sort and save CSS for later use, as well as allow other people to use it.

The profile warnings tab lets you edit your maturity block, global user content warning, and allows you to see which of your characters have warnings attached to them.

The maturity block comes in two forms and is used to prevent users under 18 from seeing your content to varying degrees. Note that even if you have the maturity block on, you still need to tag NSFW images and keep user and character icons SFW.

The normal maturity block hides your profile and all your characters from users under 18, but they will still be able to see your forum posts/threads, bullitens, and still be able to PM you.
The hard maturity block completely prevents underage users from seeing any of your content or interacting with you.

You can set an account-wide warning here, which is meant for general use to warn others about triggering content. The warning itself is a WYSIWYG/HTML field. The warning will not show up to users subscribed to you.
A fair warning: using your account-wide warning for things other than content warnings (i.e. anti-theft disclaimers) is generally frowned upon. Try not to make an account-wide warning too wordy, because they apply to all your characters.

The folder management tab lets you create new folders, set your default folder, and set your default sorting preference (which can also be set on a per-folder basis).

By default, your default folder will be unsorted. You can't edit the unsorted folder, but you can change your default folder. The default folder is the folder people see when they go to your profile and click your characters tab.

You can edit your folders by clicking them on the collection of folders to the right, which leads to a standard WYSIWYG / HTML space to put whatever your heart desires.
