Kyra's Age Progression
Kyra is about 18 at the start of her journey with time skips of three to five years apart for each volume.
Regarding Symbols
Kyra’s personal symbol is an original creation using the peace sign ☮️ on the inside of a flower. These two symbols represent peace and growth.
Voice Actress Notes
- For Hayden Panetierre as Kyra, she should be able to range from sweet and fun to tough and serious but not overexaggerate on her tone. Basically, she should use her Kairi voice but make it distinguishable for this character; not exactly like Kairi, though.
- For Yu Shimamura as Kyra, she sounds close to Cindy from Final Fantasy XV. Not exactly like her, but same vocal direction as her English VA.
- Understudies for Kyra's English voice include Alyson Stoner, Heather Halley, Jeannie Tirado, and Madison Davenport
- Understudy for Kyra's Japanese voice is Megumi Han
Character Inspirations
Kyra shares commonalities with the following characters:
- Jane Porter - Like Jane, Kyra is ambitious, artistic, curious, intelligent, eccentric, talkative, and empathetic.
- Ariel - Like the little mermaid, Kyra is often curious and fascinated by the world around her, even outside her boundaries. She loves her family dearly, though has shown signs of rebellion if it goes against her morals. While her intentions are good, they may sometimes get her into trouble. Kyra bears similar physical features to the little mermaid. Kyra's red hair was dark at childhood (think currant red) but lightened to a brighter shade with age - think rose red. This is her natural hair color and is often questioned for it much to her annoyance.
- Megara - Like Meg, Kyra is quick-witted, kind, caring, sarcastic, brave, outspoken, and bold. Kyra also had her heart broken from a past lover and is bitter about love as a result.
- Kairi - Kyra shares the same English voice actress, Hayden Panetierre. Like Kairi, Kyra is kind-hearted and caring, not afraid to speak her mind. She's loyal and headstrong, but can also be stubborn. Kyra also sports a similar hairstyle to Kairi in Kingdom Hearts II - same length, but different shades of red.
- Alex - Like Alex, Kyra has an odd mixture of a tomboy and a girly-girl; she likes flowy, frilly garments but also not afraid to get her hands dirty. Kyra is perhaps the most athletic of her friend group, always practicing gymnastics and dance; she's fairly good at soccer, too. Kyra is also an avid gamer like Cat, but more interested in first-person shooter games like Splatoon. Kyra also tends to take figure of speech literally at times. Kyra often mediates when Cat and Zani have disagreements. Kyra has the healthiest diet followed by Cat and Rochelle.
- Natasha Romanov/Black Widow - Like Nat, Kyra is level-headed and strong-willed. She is also a skilled marksman alongside her brother, Marco.
