Lore/History
A Chimefolk’s wish-orbs naturally collect the wishes ofthose around them. These cause the wish-orbs to grow brighter the more they absorb, and a chimefolk can either seek out the wish-holders and grant them or leave them alone to fade over time.
Birth: Chimefolk are born from the dying wish of a creature, often some sort of last-regret, but can be as simple as ‘I want to see a full moon’ as well.
Life: A Chimefolk has two main paths it can live by. As a native species to the planet earth, some choose to blend in by hiding their traits to the human eye (but can be seen by anyone wish a high spiritual ability, or animals).The alternative path is to become a wish-granter, which gives a chimefolk the little sensors at the base of their ears. These Chimefolk are granted the ability to naturally sense wishes at a higher rate to their counterparts.
Traits: Despite not all Chimefolk following the path to use them, they all have wish-orbs and wish-papers. The multiple sets of wings helps gifts them flight, while the wish-papers grant ease of travel, including to different planets, universes, or timelines.
Parenting
Since Chimefolk are born via wishes of outside creatures, they don’t have blood-related family. Parenting consists of either adoption, or integrating into human society. Some families stick together based off the creatures their birth-wish was created from, including the original family.
Food
Chimefolk can eat food native to their habitat/place of origin, and have a variety of diet needs & preferences varying greatly between each being.

Differences between types
- The Chimefolk species has 2 types of MYO slots- Regular, and Crossbreed. Regular chimefolk have set limitations on traits, and may be kept to specific appearance/description limitations. Crossbreed slots are a higher rarity of common slots, with far fewer limitations on what a Chimefolk can look like, as long as it is recogniseable as a chimefolk.
- There are two subspecies of Chimefolk, as regular/full chimefolk, and Cursed/Corrupted chimefolk. Cursed chimefolk can be made through obtaining an item addon and using it on a preexisting chimefolk, or a chimefolf MYO.
- an "irregular chimefolk", with various traits/appearances that are not standard to a chimefolk. This may include:
- Crossbreeding a chimefolk with another species (with traits befitting both), utelizing traits not described/not allowed for regular chimefolk, multiple alternate versions, etc.
- Corrupted chimefolk are a subcategory of chimefolk, with traits such as:
- Missing/changed trait features, separate traits than regular chimefolk (LIMITED TO CORRUPTED CHIMEFOLK.).

CHIMEFOLK - TRAITS
- Ears & Legs take after the spirit animal of their wishholder (ie. kemonomimi legs & ears, ex. rabbit)
- Wish-orbs are located in ears, and have (1) wishpaper hanging from a string off them
- (Optional) Wish-sensors help wish-grantors collect wishes, and consist of 1-2 pairs stemming from the bottom of the ear
- Neck & below, non-skin colors consisting of their body being patterned
- Wings come in sets ranging from (0-3), and are located on the back
- 1-3 sets of wish-papers hang from the tailbone
