All Subtypes


The Landom world includes subtypes, which largely concern every Landom creature. 

These subtypes need a MYO or item to be used on a Landom design! 


Subtype I: Hallowed

While they left their posts to swim in the forbidden waters of the lake, the Crypts by and underneath them were rife with ghosts, begging for another chance at existence. Goddess Necrozma heard them and blessed them and their moldering shells with the power to walk the earth, possess mortals if they were a ghost, and share their spoils of darkness with the Necromancers. The Necromancers themselves are Necrozma’s right hand to ensure her presence when she is away. These acolytes are half-undead themselves and cover the world with a darkness thick enough for even the most sensitive of Undead to roam freely.” - Skrala and Velli

Note: Any Landom Creature or Landom Hybrid can have these traits! Omniverse creatures are immune to this new curse; as they already have their Necromancers and their dark Halloween traits.

(C) Ghost Parts: Replaces living, missing parts of a Landom Creature. Goes anywhere. Creature is classified as Undead.

(C) Ectoplasm: Otherwise known as cave slime; this substance symbiotically sticks to the host. It glows faintly in the dark, and is easily “transmissible.”

(C) Possessed: Fullbody Trait. Ghostly smoke comes out of eyes, nose, mouth, paws and scars.

(C) Ghost: Outline is light and glows; ghost half instead of hind legs and tail. Eyes are blank and glow as well. Most cannot interact with the world without possessing a living being.

(UC) Undead Construct: Fullbody Trait. Dark, blank and dripping eyes as well as hardened skin are required. Also seen on (especially nonsentient) Undeads are exposed bones and water plants, from their time spent underwater until revived. They are pacifistic beings that wander aimlessly until provoked. Their brutality is known …

(UC) Turn Ghostly: An effect. Any mortal can transform into a ghost for a limited period of time, and must transform back. Individual retains their front half as a mortal, but gain a ghostly trail that removes their legs and tail when transformed.

(R) Infected Hallow: A rare disease that comes from touching the corrupted crypts and the grounds around it that Necrozma “blessed.” Hard, rocky nodules contain poison that weakens host and seriously injures attackers to said host. Colorful tendrils wrap all around host (that look like plant vines); parasite changes eye color to look like itself (Iris becomes tendril color, sclera becomes dark).

(R) Turn Undead: A curse. Individual turns into a semi-sentient Undead Construct, using the same traits as a true Undead.

(R) Shadow Fire: A power. User has a constant dark flame aura surrounding them. When activated; their shadow fire can eject from anywhere and acts as a burn and paralytic agent.

(L) Poltergeist: A rare type of Ghost, made from the vengeful souls of Mortals struck down by Necrozma’s deathly lightning bolts. Flames become the outline instead of fog; lightning halos and ambient lightning are common. Can interact with the world and throw their lightning around.

(L) Control Undead: Extraordinarily rare outside of Necromancers; sometimes Mortals can control or gift sentience to any number of Undead Constructs. If gifted sentience, the Undead has no previous memories of past life but starts anew. If controlling, the controller wears a gold necklace with a crystal holding undead water plants.

(L) Necromancer: Mortals who have chosen to worship Necrozma and bring justice to the dead. Due to them being heretics and generally morally gray; Necrozma has given them some hefty powers to fend off against the many Sight-Far and the disapproving rest of society. 



Subtype II: Hybrid "Blessings" 

"Hybrids come in two forms, ever since our Goddess Kcherva, of Chaos, decided to bless the Omniverse and Landom in tandem; delighted by diversity she is. Thus, she has blessed some *normal* Shellinir and Zuranthi to get these traits by random; yet she cannot seem to bless the wary Vekseli. If one desires to become this form of Hybrid, or "Blessed," as the common folk call these Landomians, they can obtain a special potion made by and sold from Kcherva's followers, or go straight to the Goddess herself, who is more than willing to give a new Blessing to anyone. Baranuli, the Deity of Order, remains unimpressed.” - Anonymous Pastor

Subtype III: Landom x Omniverse Hybrids

“Due to the magical planes of both the Omniverse and the Landom colliding, it changed the fabric of both universes ever so slightly to allow both denizens of both universes to interact with each other without harm. Some of these interactions lead to love, and some couples traveled far and wide to find a solution to their incomplete family. Due to unforeseen changes that happen when an Omniverse and Landom Creature breed, there is a chance for a randomized mutation to occur on their child. In the end it was Kcherva, the Shellinir Deity of Chaos, that granted these unusual pairs the ability to breed via a special crystal. Species that can Hybridize: 

Note: These species have specific rules about hybridization. First, they need a Crystal of Combination to be able to breed; and all Hybrids are Omniverse x Landom (unless there are other server collaborations in the future). Last, only mammalian creatures can breed with mammalian creatures (so a Shellinir can breed with a Kitsune, but not a Fear Dragon); and Reptilians with Reptilians (Zuranthi can breed with Avian or Reptilian Omniverse creatures).
