Please adhere to the following rules and guidelines to continue operation within the group. We will be operating on a 3-Strike Policy, though there are some instances where it may take less than that to earn a ban.

Respect the Admins/Moderators. ( "Presidents" & "Directors" roles, in discord. )
1. Try your best to listen to the things that the Mods say! The mods are not here to be your enemy, or to cause grief. If you have an issue with an action of one of the mods or another member, feel free to DM any mod, and it will be discussed privately and we'll figure out what to do about it! We assure you that you won't get in trouble for speaking up.
Age Requirement, and SFW only.
1. We require all users to be at least 16 years old to participate. All moderators are over the age of 18.
2. Any and all NSFW must be kept out of the group. We will likely not police anything you do on your personal time; but keep your Group characters uninvolved, or keep your content well-warned and hidden, please.
3. This this also applies to overt sexual implications/jokes/references. Anything falling in this category will be promptly removed if posted to the submissions forum or our discord server, and you will be issued a warning. Repeated offenses may result in a strike.
Sensitive / Triggering Content.
1. We do not allow anything that would break Toyhou.se's Prohibited Content rules. If done in-character, please provide appropriate content warnings.
  Quoted from the Prohibited Content rule:
  - Hateful or insulting rhetoric targeting any race, sexual orientation, gender, or disability.
  - Encouragement or conduct of illegal activities, or activities in an illegal context.
  - Disclosure of another user's personal, real-life identifying information.
  - Violent threats made directly, indirectly or in relation to other users. This includes wishing death or harm to other users.
  - Hate or insults directed towards other users or their creations, artwork or designs. Making comments about your preferences is fine, just don't target specific users with it.
2. We encourage users to create the content they would like to; but please refrain from posting anything that could potentially trigger/harm our other members, without a warning!
3. Toyhou.se has a baked-in Sensitive Content warning system for images, and a spoiler div option for text, and we would love for users to make use these tools to assure the safety and comfort of others.
4. Discord offers censorship as well in the form of spoilers, both on images and with text. Use these when interacting with the Discord group.
5. Please be sure to appropriately give a heads-up for what's INSIDE of the spoiler! No vague "triggering content" warnings. If there is a reason for your work to come with a warning, give the exact warning.
Characters - Feral, Anthro, Gijinka.
1. In an attempt to be as inclusive as possible to any kind of artist, we have a special rule about artists who prefer to draw Anthro and Gijinka versions of Pokémon!
2. You must draw at least one reference image of your character AS their intended Pokémon species, with the proper anatomy, for other group members to reference and for the Moderation Team to approve.
3. After that, you are free to design an Anthro or Gijinka version of them to use within the group! We suggest, if possible, including all forms you intend to use on the same reference, or bundled in the same tab/gallery on your character's profile. The Anthro/Gijinka must match the original Pokémon's anatomy/proportions, somewhat! For a good example of these proportions, view this sketch by Krembearry, of their character Souhaite. Please do not create any highly sexualized/fetish bait designs for your Group Pokémon.
4. As a special rule, your character will ONLY visually be an Anthro/Gijinka! For the sake of all in-group activity, they will still be considered their normal species, with their normal posture.
5. Please do not harass or look down upon other group members for drawing your Pokémon with their original posture, or look down upon other group members for HAVING Anthro/Gijinka versions of their characters. We would like this group to be as user friendly, and open, as possible!
Canon-Inspired Characters.
1. While we allow characters INSPIRED by canon content, we will deny the submission if we feel is it overstepping the lines, in bad taste, or breaking Toyhou.se's Derivative Content rules about Canon Characters.
  Quoted from the Derivative Content / Canon Characters rules:
  - We do not host canon character re-uploads. This includes:
    - Direct re-uploads of characters that exist in published media
    - Direct AU versions, re-designs or kinsonas of these characters, who share the same name, personality, and identity
  - Regarding Canon-Inspired Characters:
    - We allow canon-inspired characters specifically where it's clear they're an original character who has been inspired by the canon content, rather than AU fanart and fanfic of a canon character. As long as your character has their own name, and a profile/design that reflects they're intended to be individual from the canon character and are not literally the canon character, they should be fine to upload. Adding some background to the character's profile to explain who they are will help a lot to ensure they don't get mixed up.
    - Don't advertise these as for sale or trade on-site.
    - We do not moderate visual similarities, but we reserve the right to take down profiles we believe have been made in bad faith. Please do not upload fanart of a canon character with a few letters of their name changed and a copy pasted profile.
User Accounts.
1. If a user changes their username, please send a DM to the DIRECTOR account with the subject "username change: [your previous username]" for the sake of updating our trackers.
2. If you have not had your username updated via DM, any submissions made to the group will be in a temporary 'frozen' state, until you do. We will not make this update for you.
Sources and Credit.
1. It should go without saying, but PLEASE provide correct sources and credit for the artwork and designs you showcase within our group.
2. All artwork should have a proper credit, including any assets used to create it. (Bases, Stock Photos, Etc.)
3. Please assure your character's designers are properly credited.
Courtesy.
1. A rule that is more prominent in the discord, but still important here as well. Please do not talk over other users within forums, or within channels in the discord.
2. If a forum thread or discord channel is quiet in terms of activity, please provide a fifteen minute grace period before chiming in with something different.
3. Please always respond to anyone whose posted something above you! Within discord, "Reacting" to the post does not count as a response, please say something kind!
4. Similarly, please do not bring discourse or other negative content into threads/channels where it previously wasn't.
Mini-Moderating.
1. Please do not try to act in a moderation role for anyone. You are allowed to provide direct quotes from various pages, or things mods have said previously, if you would like to help out someone in need- but do not take it upon yourself to moderate someone's actions or answer questions that you do not have a source for the answer of.
2. Do not take it upon yourself to sort out the traits of another user's character, unless they explicitly ask for help from the community.
Bans & Appeals.
1. As stated above, the group will operate on a 3-strike system for bans. Banned users will be kept on a list in the future, to assure that they are kept from the group.
2. If you are banned and would like to appeal it, please send a DM to the DIRECTOR account. Please be formal and neutral in your messages- as a manipulative tone will result in deletion of your message.
3. If you are banned from the DIRECTOR account, you are unable to send an appeal. Messaging any of the moderators/admins to circumvent this banning will result in a report being filed for ban evasion.
The Most Important Rule, Fun!
1. Now that the actual official rules are done with, we would like to remind everyone that Ultra Paradise is a group primarily for the sake of having fun and developing characters with each other.
2. Us Presidents really missed the group, and didn't want to keep it to our own private concepts anymore, so we've brought it back for everyone!
3. We just want people to be able to enjoy themselves and their characters, and have fun here.
4. Please do your best to keep it a positive atmosphere!
5. When you send a join request to the world, include the words "Faith in Aether" to assure that you have read these rules and agree to them.
