Lore/History

Identikits are a "masked", biped mammal species. They can remove their mask to clean off, eat, and speak. Very few Identikits have the ability to speak. Rare, but not impossible. Most identikits are brightly colored, although there are no restrictions on their coloring and patterns. Their masks can be drawn and painted on. Some Identikits keep paintings and graffiti on their masks as a part of them, many do not, though.

Identikits are very social creatures with others of their own species. They often move in groups of at least two, depending on the Identikit. They are not vocal, majority of them are mute. Faint whispers can be heard in their voids from time to time. They enjoy being around other species, although they are very cautious around them, as they cannot read their body language as easily as they can with their own species.

Identikits were found near rivers and lakes, as they love water. They were primarily found in forests and woods, although now they are also found in cities and towns. Identikits have very strong back legs. They can jump similar to kangaroos, very high and very far. Their sight is not very good, so their hearing is enhanced. They are very strong in groups, but less on their own. They usually have very bad upper strength, although it's not very uncommon for them to be stronger than average.

Identikits average height is 7'8 standing upright, 4'5 feral. They rarely ever stand on all 4 of their legs, but they can. Identikits average weights are 120 kgs. It's not uncommon for an identikit to weigh more than 120.

Lifespan

Identikits lifespans are around 40-50 years or longer. They average living around 46 years, but many of them live much longer than that. It's not uncommon for an Identikit to live to 100 years.

Parenting

Identikits are very caring creatures. Most Identikit communities will all help each other with their cubs. Its not uncommon for certain Identikit groups to have a designated area to act as a nursery for cubs.

Identikits can have cubs with any gender of the species. A lot of Identikits even have polucules. Identikits usually have 2-3 cubs at a time, but not uncommon for them to have more or just one.

Food

Identikits are omnivores. They enjoy berries and such most. Since they are mainly found in towns and cities, finding food for them is not hard. They eat by taking off their masks and tossing food inside, no chewing required.

Powers

Identikits can have various powers. They can range from plant growth, to controlling water, to telekinesis, or even no powers at all. Most Identikits' powers revolves around the holes in their faces. A small percent of Identikits have powers unrelated to their void.

Unlisted traits are more than welcome and there are little to no restrictions on what kinds of traits you want on your identikit. Avian traits, reptilian traits, and aquatic/fish/amphibian traits are concidered mutations since Identikits are mainly mammals, although they are not illegal or anything of the sorts and you are free to have them on an Identikit.
