CRAGCLAN

The founder of PeatClan, Copperstar, originates from CragClan and was formerly a deputy. He chased a cat he envisioned in received in a dream, disappearing for a moon without warning. After a hostile encounter with the leader, Froststar, he was chased out of the clan with two friends and one of the friend's siblings, the new deputy, followed. The siblings fought and boeir smth died as a result. This was seen as an attack against CragClan, and no cat believed Copperstar when he explained that he was innocent. Since this and a few fights, the two clans have remained in some sort of relative peace, but are not allies in any form. His name is ruined amongst the parent clan and his clan is seen as a band of traitors and outcasts. CragClan sees PeatClan as a group of weak cats and bullies them out of territory, due to their small clan size and tendency to avoid violence. While the original members of PeatClan are aware of the truth behind the clans' relationship, new members believe that CragClan are power-hungry cats who simply don't want to share the area. There is hostility from most cats of both clans, though Copperstar and his high-ranking clanmates remain polite. Froststar and her deputy Dapplewing often make snarky remarks at gatherings. Their territories are seperated by a river and usually prevents fights and trespassing, but it doesn't stop cats from making aggressive remarks over the river.
