GENERAL

RivuletClan is located between two rivers, one of which steams from a large lake, the other which stems from a large river. Their clan camp is nestled between three groups of great hills covered in long blades of grass, where large floofy cloud like creatures could potentially roam in the distant future should two legs begin to infringe on RivuletClan territory. Located in almost the south most area of what they see as belonging to them, RivuletClan cats experience cool winds coming off the hills surrounding their camp in the summer, and are shielded from heavy snow fall in the winter-making spring their least favorite time of year as the water from the melting snow has been known to invade their camp every so often. Luckily for the clan cats, the water rarely lingers longer than a few weeks, as the ground soaks it up swiftly. Which may sound strange, being that the cats of this clan enjoy swimming every now and again-but swimming for enjoyment and living in water are two completely diffrent things! Near the great lake river, the ground has been known to get rather muddy during the spring time, crumbly during the dryer months of the year, and difficult to navigate through in the winter as the depth of snow has been known to be misleading- making it rather unpleasant to hunt in year round for cats who don't appreciate dirty paws or appearing the fool. Although they don't live by many trees, Rivulet cats deem themselves to be expert climbers and often boost about how easily they climb the adder trees in the west side of their territory. These cats tend to feel more open and vulnerable  whenever patrolling around the pond next to the big lake and the west side of the big lake it's self, as the grass is shorter and the area more open, but hold their heads high as to give off a sense of confidence. The hills in the east tend to be damper than the hills surrounding their camp during the spring, but the cool ground is often a welcomed sight after a walk along the boarders. From there RivuletClan cats deem their territory to go from the small river near the gathering rock between the pine trees, to the great river and western to be the northern most part of their territory.  Although the water around the northern part of their territory is a welcome sight, first time apprentices have been known to complain about the trek out there. In the future, Brookstar may have to give up territory to the north and consider expanding south, as the added space closer to their camp would make their camp less vulnerable and make for shorter patrols. She would have done so sooner but is too proud to admit she may have made a mistake when claiming land before finding the purrfect place for their camp.
