This is a collection of the weekly facts posted on the discord server! I thought I'd share them for those who aren't joined up~

-Did you know that wishwings are often attached to the objects they're born from and keep them nearby? When a wishwing deeply and truly cares for someone they offer their most precious object as a present. This doesn't happen often, but it's a sign that the wishwing fully trusts someone and would be willing to do anything for them.

-Did you know wishwings can be fans of fashion? A great way many wishwings express themselves is through tail styling. Some like to braid them in all kinds of ways, or weave flowers and jewels throughout! Some  may even divide their tail up and give the look of having multiple tails. They can change it whenever they feel, but since it involves taking their bead out for a short while they only do it in a place they're comfortable in. So if a wishwing changes its tail around you, then they feel safe in your presence!

-Did you know that when wishwings are first born they hold immense  power and can grant a single powerful wish? After that they must rest for several days to regain their strength, but after that their wish  granting powers are quite weak. They must keep granting wishes to grow stronger and stronger. Once they gain a significant amount of wish  power they can grant wishes outside of the ones they were born from!  Some even can change appearance over time and gain unique traits! It's  said that incredibly old and powerful wishwings have one of a kind  appearances that invoke awe!

-Did you know there's a special type of wishwing called origin? They're called that due to most being quite old and significantly powerful.  It's not often you get to see an origin wishwing, but it's said they all  posses unique traits not found on any other wishwing. It's a sign of great wish power since wishwings that grant countless wishes can change appearance over time. Any wishwing can become an origin as long as they  work very hard!

-Did you know the holiday of Tanabata was originally inspired by wishwings? The act of writing a wish on a colored strip of paper and  hanging it up on a tree stems from the method used by wishwings to grant wishes. It's said the traditional started in small villages where the  villagers would write a collection of wishes and if they were lucky a wishwing would come down at night and grant them!

-The Wishwing Protection Association(WPA) was founded by an extremely wealthy woman back in 1980 after she was appalled at the abuse and exploitation of wishwings. She used her vast funds to found the group and hire agents all around the city to watch over and monitor wishwings to ensure they were being treated properly and not being manipulated by unsavory types. Eventually the group gained support by more and more people and expanded to be a global organization with paid and volunteers traveling around to even remote regions to prevent wishwing abuse.
