First to be conceived, before all the other subspecies, Sporelequins were the prototypes to human and plant hybridization. Unlike their predecessors however, rare are Sporelequins with functioning vocal cords. More surprising, no Sporelequins possess conventional Boneplant roots or bones, for that matter. Instead, their squishy bony is filled with miles and miles of mycelium which was back then believed to be a perfect reproduction of bones for a plant being. Light and soft, Sporelequins are often made by apprentice Seeders as a first project due to the relative simplicity of the task.

Starting small, a freshly hatched Sporelequin can fit in oneโ€™s pocket, but donโ€™t be deterred; they grow big quite fast.
Sporelequins donโ€™t have stem traits like other subspecies as they all sport the cap of the mushroom they represent on the top of their head, but they sometimes come with a partial veil around their body or volva around their limbs.
In addition, their primitive eyes bear no coloration what so ever and only serve to detect movement.
