What are grades?

Grades are pin-like devices that serve to tell the broad age of a BP, its provenance, and its current location. It's basically an ID with a geolocator and a communicator, convenient for safe forest trips!

What grades are available?

27949250_wFsmAZcIJCpgJZt.pngWood grade: BPs below the age of 8 wear this pin. Sculpted to weight as little as possible, they serve to get infants used to their presence. While Wood grades are too young to go to the forest, they take care of the insect farm with their Gardener! Young BPs cannot use their roots yet, they've got a lot to learn!
27949264_gbsZ0uDhjl0kGLF.pngCopper grade: 8 years old and older wear this pin. Gardeners can keep track of them while they're scavenging the edge of the forest. They rust easily and demand a great amount of polishing and caring, otherwise parasite signals might be picked up.
27949255_Q6avJa1QaGKlq9E.pngSilver grade: Past 12 years of age, BPs undergo a dangerous coming of age challenge. Would they succeed, their copper grade is swapped for a silver one, which is welded to adapt to the individual plant's magnetic field. It's a unique object that cannot be traded.

Silver grade can venture to the first layer of the forest, about 60ft deep. They generally accompany copper and up grades with them, alongside foresters.

Other grades are currently unavailable.

-Root traits can be found in the corresponding trait sheet.

To get your characters approved in the group, members must:

Submit your finalized BP character to the Seedery folder.

Design guideline:

1. BonePlants typically wear gardener inspired outfits, you can find some references and inspirations from there

You are encouraged to use their official uniform if you don't want the professors to get on your back!

2. Read the FAQ thoughtfully! The page is full of the information you don't want to miss for your character building's sake!

As a quick little reminder, for myself and for you, until I can make cute explaining illustrations:

❦ BPs can't grow long hair, it makes them sick

❦ BPs don't wear shoes, socks or gloves.

Comment away if you have any questions or suggestions, I'm appreciative of feedback!
