WHAT IS THE HELLRING/HELLFLAME?
The Hellring and the Hellflame are part of the Warpa's soul pact. They are demons born and created in hell, so their souls are binded inside the realm. The Hellring and flame are visible symbols that act like a reminder that they belong in hell. The more powerful a Warpa is, the more rings or flames they have because they need a stronger pact to keep them from physically escaping their world. The rings and flames are usually the color of the Warpa's markings. Hellrings and flames can be located around or over ANY part of their body! And remember that the Hellring is not static, it slowly spins clockwise and the flame moves like actual fire. It also cannot be touched, its just like a projection.
HOW DO WARPAS OBTAIN THEIR HUMANOID FORM?
Warpas are able to get a glimpse of the nightmares that belong to the people they are stealing the energy from. That is how they are able to see the humans in their first place, and steal their looks. So once a Warpa goes on their first hunt, they will usually steal the looks from one of the first humans that they see.
CAN FEMALE LOOKING WARPAS HAVE BREASTS?
Yes, they can! But remember they cannot be used to feed any babies since their bodies are only imitations of human's bodies. And yes, they have nipples.
WHAT COLORS CAN THE MARKINGS BE?
Any solid color. Just ONE, unless you buy a marking add-on in the store.
ARE BODY MODIFICATIONS ALLOWED?
Yes! Things such as split tongue, piercings, scarification, ear cropping, etc.
CAN WARPAS HAVE SKIN MARKINGS?
Yes, and by skin markings i mean like discoloration of the skin, freckles, or Vitiligo. So they can have different colored skin spots as long as it stays black, white or greyscale and it makes sense.
WHY ARENT MUTATIONS INCLUDED WITH THE TIERS?
Our mutation system is built with the purpose of encouraging members to be active in the species and participate in events. In my previous experience with CS, I feel giving the members a certain "goal" to work towards to allows them to feel like their activity in the community pays off, as they can buy cool mutations to add onto their Warpa. I feel it is also more rewarding to obtain mutations through participation than to immediately have them, because as the members work towards gaining those mutations, they come to develop their characters more and really make a connection with them. We do believe having pretty characters is important, but what we care the most is that you come to love your character and that you, as the creator, also help them with their development and growth.
Our group offers many events and prompts each month that members can participate in to start collecting DC (demon coins), and the more you participate, the more things you are able to buy for your Warpa. So in the end, you do not have to spend a penny if you do not want to! Of course, if there is a mutation that really catches your eye, we also offer a money and DA point option.
SO, IF THEY CAN'T GET OUT OF HELL, WHATS THE POINT OF THEIR HUMANOID FORM?
Not all species in hell look like monsters. So in order to interact with other demons and mingle among them if needed, Warpas developed a camouflage form. They are not able to look fully like a human but their humanoid form is enough for them to fit in their world. They also use this form if they need to move around without causing too much attention, since they are quite big when in their original form.
CAN MY WARPAS INTERACT WITH OTHER SPECIES/DEMONS THAT RESIDE IN HELL?
Of course! Hell isn't only Dante's Inferno. There are other realms/worlds in hell where the Warpa can go. So if you have characters that live in some kind of hell or demon world, you may certainly use your Warpas in it.
CAN I USE MY WARPA TO ROLEPLAY WITH OTHER SPECIES?
Of course you can! We are not a closed world so you are free to roleplay with other demon species or OCs!
IF I MAKE A WARPA BASED ON A BIRD, WOULD THEY HAVE WINGS IN THEIR HUMANOID FORM?
No, unless you purchase the mutation for that. Normally, Warpas cannot have wings on their humanoid form. They only have tails! So if your Warpa has a long, furry tail in their nightmare form, they would inherit that instead!
CAN MY WARPA HAVE COLORED HAIR?
If you have a tier 1-3, then no you cant. The only tiers that can have colored hair/fur are Tier 4 and cross-bred Warpas.
CAN WARPAS USE MAGIC?
Pure blood Warpas (Tier 1-4) CANNOT use magic! But cross-breeds can! The only thing that could be considered 'magic' would be their physic powers. The reason for this is because Warpas are like feral beasts, and so their ability consists mostly on their strength, and their bodies don't really have any form of magic deposit. ALTHOUGH, did you know your Warpa can inherit some traits from the animal they are based on? So if your Warpa is based on a dog, they could wag their tails when happy. Or if they are based on a bat, their hearing is more sensitive. So feel free to add these little quirks to your Warpa. If you would like to know if its acceptable or not, you are welcomed to note us or ask us in the discord.
DO WARPAS HAVE PAW BEANS?
They do actually! They could be the same color of the sclera, or greyscale/black and white.
WHATS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF EYES A WARPA CAN HAVE ON THE NIGHTMARE FORM?
1 eye is the minimum. And no, Warpas cannot NOT have eyes. They would die of starvation as they need their eyes to feed.
HOW TALL ARE WARPAS' NIGHTMARE FORM?
Warpas can be up to 12 feet tall in their nightmare form. That's the maximum height, the minimum being 6 feet tall. They don't have a specific height on their humanoid, but because they are big demons, they are usually very tall, 6 feet being the average. But you can make them as tall or as small as you want! Just remember that their nightmare form has to be big!
DO THEY HAVE A CERTAIN CLOTHING STYLE?
Nope! can be any that you want. Give them cute or edgy clothes--Your Warpa's style is for you to build.
DOES MY WARPA NEED TO HAVE A NIGHTMARE FORM?
YES! even if you don't draw them often and prefer drawing the humanoid form, ALL Warpas need a nightmare form if you wish to participate in group events. After all, some events might require you to draw your Warpa's nightmare form and use it for other prompts.
WHAT KIND OF EVENTS WILL THIS GROUP FEATURE?
We aim to be a big community-species group that features events, monthly prompts, raffles, DTAs, contests, giveaways, and roleplays! We will also be hosting a discord so members can talk and get to know each other!

Black, unless you buy the colored blood mutation.
DO WARPAS HAVE A LIFE SPAN AND DO THEY AGE?
Warpas age to a certain degree but are immortal beings. Please refer to the [AGING INFO] in our "About Warpas" section.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO UPGRADE MY WARPA'S TIER TO A HIGHER ONE?
You can do two things: 1. If you wish to upgrade your Warpa's tier, you can head over to the: [ Tier Upgrade Hub ] 2. Wait for special events/raffles that will give out a certain item that you can use to upgrade your warpa. You may sell this Item for Demon coins, but you may not gift it or trade it.
DO WARPAS INHERIT THE NIGHTMARE FORM OF THEIR PARENTS?
It depends on the parent that impregnated the carrier. If the 'male' was a dog, for example, and the 'female' a wolf, then the baby would be a dog. But since all babies are born as Tier 1s, then if the dad isn't a mammal, the baby takes the form of the mother. If the mother isn't a mammal either, then the baby takes form of a random mammal and as they lvl up tiers, they can turn into the animal the dad is.
