Breeding

Regardless of gender, all first generation eelum are capable of breeding. While it is suggested to have two parents, there are options for single eelum who wish to raise a little one of their own. No second generation eelum are allowed to breed at this time.

If two different owners are breeding their eelum together, then there will be two offspring. There must be consent from both owners. If one owner is breeding their eelum, then there will only be one offspring.

Any trait owned by the parent eelum may be transferred to the offspring. Colors, patterns, and overall aesthetics of the parent eelum will also be taken into account. Owners can request for specific traits or designs to transfer from parent to offspring. Owners cannot request traits that neither parent has.

Offspring will only be visibly designed a gender if the owners request it. Otherwise, the offspring design will appear genderless. Owners may assign any gender of their choice to the offspring.

Any species of eelum is able to breed with another, regardless of rarity. There is a chance of the offspring developing new hybrid traits when the parents are different species, but it is not guaranteed.

Solo eelum enetered for breeding will be assigned a random stand-in design in place of a second parent. Owners may not make any requests about the potential traits of the unknown parent, but they may request traits that they do not want the offspring to inherit. Stand-in designs will not be revealed and will not be related to any existing eelum designs.
