Regular Terrawings that are not hybrids or royalty can be freely made by anyone. Terrawings can be made using one of our bases, drawing your own Terrawing, requesting/commissioning an artist, or trading/purchasing an existing Terrawing. There is no limit to the amount of Terrawings a user can create or own.

There is a set lore and setting for Terrawings. However, your characters do not have to follow this. They are free to interact with other settings, fantribes, etc.

Terrawings need to be approved by a member of staff to be recognized as an official member of the species. Approval means the Terrawing follows all of our species guidelines (found on our World Pages) and allows users and their characters to participate in contests, events, and roleplays.

There are two ways to submit a Terrawing for approval. Method 1 is submitting a toyhouse character profile to this world, with "approval" in the "reasons for wanting to submit character" section. Method 2 is submitting a post to the "approvals" channel of our discord server. For both methods, all of the information below needs to be filled out. Additional information can be added - the following requirements are only the minimum.

1. Name
2. Tribe
3. Home ("river kingdom" "mud kingdom" "southern island" etc)
4. Occupation (only required if they live in a terra kingdom)
5. Family (if your terra is related to other terras, list them and their owners here)
6. Designer / Artist
7. Appearance
8. Uncommon / Rare Traits (only required if they have any)
9. Mutations (only required if they have any)

The Appearance section must be a full-body visual (drawn) and/or written description of your Terrawing. All parts should be described - the body, the wings and limbs, the tail, the head, etc. It is best to be detailed with written descriptions.

Terrawings are owned by bailysis. Do not steal, trace, repost, or claim Terrawing resources as your own. Do not steal the designs of Terrawing characters. Do not create non-Terrawing characters using Terrawing resources. Do not remove watermarks/signatures from Terrawing resources.

Users can freely trade their Terrawings with others, with no trading cooldown. Please notify the new owner of our community on Toyhouse if they are not already aware of it! :)

Any user can make Terrawing adopts/designs to give away or sell. Terrawing adopts must be approved before they can be sold. Terrawing resources cannot be used to make adopts to be sold (free adopts are fine) except by staff. Users cannot create adopts of royalty or hybrid Terrawings without permission.

Uncommon and rare traits can be found on staff-made adopts or be awarded as contest prizes as passes. Users can apply an Uncommon Pass or a Rare Pass to an existing Terrawing of theirs, trade it (NOT resell it), or apply it to a Terrawing they are currently designing. Passes are limited to their tribe - if you have an Uncommon pass, and are designing a Bayterra character, you cannot give that Bayterra an uncommon trait found only on Riverterras.

Hybrid characters can be created by staff. Hybrid passes, which allow a user permission to create a hybrid, are awarded through contests. There are two types of hyrbids (and hybrid passes): Terra Hybrids and Terra-Pyrrhia Hybrids. Hybrids among Terrawings are uncommon, but not impossible. Hybrids between Terrawings and Pyrrhian tribes are very rare, due to social stigma and issues with egg mortality. Users with a hybrid pass are allowed to hybridize Terrawings with other fantribes (included in a Terra-Pyrrhia hybrid pass), as long as they have permission from the other fantribes' staff.

Members of Terrawing royalty can be created by staff. Royalty passes are awarded through contests. Users who own Queens or Kings do not possess special permissions, but can have a say in tribe customs, such as royal succession and governing policies. Queens are also allowed to determine characteristics of other family members, such as the age and gender of their partner, siblings, and dragonets.

Terrawings can have mutations, which are different than uncommon or rare traits. Such mutations can be real-world (albino, piebald, etc) or fantasy (wip). Mutations are rare in the tribe and are also a heavy wip atm :') more info later.

Terrawings, including hybrids, lack the magical abilities that the Pyrrhian tribes possess. They cannot inherit abilities such as Rainwing color-changing, Nightwing foresight, Leafwing leafspeak, or animus magic.

If you wish to remove a Terrawing character from the species entirely, please notify a member of staff. The design will have to be changed so that the identifying traits of a Terrawing are removed or altered significantly enough for the design to no longer be recognizeable as a Terrawing. The degree of change will be determined case-by-case by staff.

Do not use Terrawings or Terrawing characters to support discrimination and hate speech.
