Lepus are a semi-open species that must remain in the Voiyager world.
If you have a Voiyager that is being used in another setting outside of the lore, you may make a Lepus for that Voiyager but keep the Lepus lore provided here! If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message.
The Lepus are star-like rabbits that enjoy nothing more than gliding through space. They can be found on various moons in large groups. Usually there is one Alpha female and Alpha male that reigns over the group as a mated pair. Young females and males are welcome to challenge the Alphas at any time to gain control of the group. Usually a couple would challenge the current reigning couple but there was been reports of single Lepus taking charge, eventually the remaining alpha spot being filled once that new Alpha finds a mate! Their wings sparkle like the stars in the night sky and are what attracted the Voiyagers to discovering them.
Voiyagers began to keep Lepus as pets due to their ability to sniff out and collect asteroids and other food sources a Voiyager requires. In exchange a Voiyager gives a Lepus a home and protection. Lepus are often prey animals to the various lifeforms in the universe. Some are hunted for food while others for their fluffy cloud-like fur (they're extremely soft and are cool to the touch!).
Rules for creating a Lepus
* No edits allowed to the species (hair, horns, different types of wings, accessories beyond bows/collars/earrings, etc)
* If the base provided is used the signature must be kept! Do not remove it.
* Their wings must have some sort of star-like pattern on them to keep to their lore.
* Their bodies must be fluffy and cloud-like. Think like a sheep's wool!
* You may color your Lepus any way you wish accept for copy-cat versions of official licensed characters (sonic, pokemon, etc)!
* You may not sell your Lepus. You may make some to give away in raffles or trades. All giveaways must be done here on TH or in our Discord!
