Origins

Approximately 14 billion years the universe came into existence. As a result, the entirety of space and existence was incredibly chaotic and sporadic. New stars and debris were being formed, taken away, and reshaped, and among all this chaos was the creation of the peculiar star later named Astalus 01. The star went around with little happening of interest until 7 billion years had passed as it suddenly reached the point of Supernova. The death of that star led to a spread of rapidly blinking and glowing stardust, and this stardust gradually accumulated into two unique glowing eggs. The eggs eventually landed on a rather large comet that was isolated from the rest of the universe, and the first two Comet Dividers soon hatched. These two were granted the power of bringing life into the vast emptiness of space, and thus they separated and went on to create the first generation of Comet Dividers by enchanting the particles of stardust within far out comets.

Astra and Lunara

After 3 billion years apart creating the Comet Dividers, the two convened at a recently-formed planet near their home comet. After their experience visiting other solar systems, they chose the names Astra and Lunara for themselves. They dubbed the new planet Astalus 02 and, with the aid, of nearby Comet Dividers, formed the first proper civilization for their species. Today, Astalus 02 is the most technologically advanced world made by Comet Dividers, and the capital acts as a hub for them to meet. Astra and Lunara have made a home in the Temple of Origin, where they conduct research on galaxies and deal with citizen’s concerns. Naturally, they both are widely revered and worshipped among many Comet Dividers.

Habitat

Comet Dividers are known for living within or on comets, and most comets in the sky house one. Some build homes atop the comet while others prefer to burrow within it. They have the power to manipulate their comet and use them travel to specific destinations or just wander the sky. Whether or not they venture out of their home often is dependent upon the person; some like to travel while others prefer isolation. Some even make permanent residences on distant planets or Astalus 02, though they typically station their home comet somewhere close by.

“This entry is about how Comet Dividers were made as well as information about our Creators and homes. (Though, this does not necessarily need to be followed when making a Comet Divider…)”
