Welcome to the Flamuli Lagoon! Flamuli are a work in progress, so expect lots of changes while we fix up some stuff! Flamuli are created and owned by woofle , so you may go to her or any admin if you have questions or concerns. We hope you enjoy participating in the species! :)
Flamuli will primarily be a DeviantArt based species, however updates on Toyhouse will still be frequent. Currently, TH is our center of command while we set up our DA!

Admin Applications (TBD)
Admin applications will open in the future! There is no set amount of admins that will be picked, although the number won't be very high. I will be picky with admins, and may choose not to hire any for the time being. Admins will act as moderators and may also become artists for the species. Admins will be able to take Admin Customs as well.
A blacklist or ban may be issued if a rule is broken multiple times
- Any hate (including but not limited to homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, etc.) will be strictly punished.
- Flamuli are a closed species and cannot be created without an MYO slot.
- Please refrain from creating an off-brand Flamuli!
- Do not harrass or go after users who have been blacklisted or banned from the species.
- Make sure to follow our species guide when creating a Flamuli with the proper MYO slot.
A blacklist or ban may be issued if a term isn't followed
- Flamuli can only be resold if they were originally purchased with real currency or you have commissioned art of them. Trading and gifting is allowed regardless.
- Co-owning Flamuli is not allowed, as our site masterlist only permits one owner per entry. Under-the-table co-owning cannot be prevented by us, but please understand we only have the power to protect the LISTED owner of the Flamuli, not any co-owners, even if there is proof.
- Please refrain from stealing, tracing, or copying another user's Flamuli.
- Do not base a Flamuli's design on a copyrighted character. Taking aspects from them are fine, but make sure they are not too recognizable.
- Redesigns must be approved before used. Redesigned Flamuli should only be changed slightly, and should still look like the original design.
- There is no limit to how many colors a Flamuli may have, however once approved, colors cannot be replaced or removed. Horns and claws must remain ONE color unless the Flamuli has the multi-colored trait or the Shiny Color Spray item is used.
- When trading, gifting, or selling your Flamuli, make sure to submit a transfer form so the Masterlist can be updated.
- There is a seven day cooldown before a Flamuli can be transferred. This will be checked before a trasnfer is approved. This does not include unused MYO slots.

Infant-Adult
Baby Flamuli (commonly referred to as chicks) are born a pure white color. They are quite small and relatively chubby. Their wings are also very small and underdeveloped; they cannot fly at this stage of their life!
As a chick grows, their colors and markings quickly begin to form. Their limbs and neck begins to lengthen and their wings start to grow stronger. At this point, the chick can glide, but not fly.
Finally, the Flamuli becomes an adult. Their colors and markings are fully formed, and everything is sized proportionally to the species. Once a Flamuli has become an adult, they may form social groups or go off on their own.
Diet
Flamuli are omnivores, meaning they may eat just about anything. Each Flamuli has its own preference on its diet. The most common diet for Flamuli is seafood, especially fish, seaweed, kelp, and crustaceans.
Flamuli don't need to eat a lot to stay alive, and can go long periods of time with limited food intake. Some do like to indluge though!

Admins
Admins are essentially co-owners of the species. Woofle (the creator and full owner of the species) doesn't appoint actual co-owners, but might hire a previous mod to come on as an admin. Admin positions are never open for applications and are personally picked by Woofle. Admins have partial control over the species and group, and may help out when Woofle is busy or cannot help. 25% of profits from adopts will go the species owner, Woofle, however 100% of profit from admin customs are kept by admins. Charity adopts are excluded from this rule and 100% will go to charity (with the possibility that the artist can keep at most 10% of profit, although this must be clearly stated on the adopt).
Moderators
Moderators can be both actual moderators for the species AND artists. Each moderator may decide how they wish to work. Mods should be available to answer questions truthfully and patiently, and must also know to ask for help if they need it. Moderators, if also working as an artist, may offer two modertor customs per month. There is no price limit on how much a mod can charge for these customs. Their method of choosing a custom can also be anything, such as first come first serve, usd payment, species trade, etc. 25% of profits from adopts will go the species owner, Woofle, however 100% of profit from moderator customs are kept by mods.Charity adopts are excluded from this rule and 100% will go to charity (with the possibility that the artist can keep at most 10% of profit, although this must be clearly stated on the adopt).
Artists
Artists can create Flamuli adopts no more than twice a month. There is no limit to how many Flamuli can be in a singular batch, however it should not be a particularily large amount. At the moment, artists cannot take on customs, although this may change in the future. The only positions allowed to take customs are moderators and admins. Currently, artists should not request the moderator position as it will be offered to them.
Guest Artists
Guest Artists are chosen every month, usually one or two. They have up to two months to create a single batch of Flamuli. Once more, there is no limit to how many Flamuli are allowed in a batch, but it should be reasonable. Guest Artists are not considered for the artist position until they have been a GA at least twice.
Flamuli Currency
Flamuli currency are Sea Biscuits! This is commonly shortened to $SB or just SB. SB can be earned by submitting gift art, through events and raffles, and by just participating in the group!
Rules on Earning Sea Biscuits
Sea Biscuits cannot currently be purchased, and may NOT be sold for real currency. Sea Biscuits can be used in our shops, and can also be traded/used to purchase Flamuli items or Flamuli designs. There is a max cap of earning 20 Sea Biscuits per month by doing gift art, however there is no cap on how much SB can be earned through other means.

You can earn Sea Biscuits through...
- A total of 20 SB can be earned every month through gift art.

- Sea Biscuits can be earned through raffles that we host every week! We also hold bigger raffles every now and then.
- SB can also be earned through events, especially during the games that we sometimes host during events.
