Infant-Adult

the average nurophin lives for about 10 years, when the parent lays an egg, is commonly hatches after 3 months and is very small, they grow rapidly for about a year and then stop growing

they only get their claws once they are about a year old

subspeices

there are two nurophin subspecies, shallow-water nurophins are less tall and have brighter colors, they are herbivores and more friendly, commonly living in packs of 5-20 nurophins. they live in dens that they dig out at the edges of rivers and shallow lakes

deep-water ( or dark-water ) nurophins are very mysterious and rare, they live in deep ravines at the bottom of oceans and are very solitary, they are carnivores and have sharp claws from birth, their eyes always glow to allow them to see in the dark waters.

diet/ sleep

nurophins eat whatever food is around them, it varies by subspecies but normal ones mostly eat moss off the cave ceilings and waterplants

nurophins don't need to sleep, they only relax in nests or sunny rocks for energy

breeding

nurophins mostly only breed in summer so that their pups hatch in fall, it is the only time they gather in large groups, females often move into the male's cave and lay 1-3 eggs

mating lasts all summer and most males stay in their dens until they see a suitable female

Build

Nurophins are VERY tall ( mostly in the legs ) and have flat paws that don't curve forward, they have semi- long and sleek necks and very long and sleek tails, they are mostly like domesticated cats, but their builds may extend to other variations of felines, and sometimes canines.

Colors and natures vary by subspecies, but they are mostly solitary and passive creatures.

Other important details to consider when making your nurophin is that they have a frill made out of skin outlining their neck, as well as frilly fin-type things on their front paws! They also have a larger fin on their back and a smaller one on their underbelly.

How does Currency work?

Sea glass pebbles ( can also be called SGP or pebbles ) are worth about half a DA point, they look like a small, smooth penny and are different shades of blue, green, and grey and they are about the size of a nickle
