Chittas are attracted to gems and crystals and will create a "nest" inside a burrow where they will store any valuables they find. Some treasure hunters try to find these burrows, but because Chittas are difficult to trace, their nests are rarely found.

One of the only ways to train and domesticate a Chitta is with gems and other valuables.

They can be quite expensive to keep as pets due to their treasure hoarding obsessions and if not treated with new valuables reguarly will move on to somewhere else.
Chittas can also be trained to bring their owner valuables if they are bought up to believe that the home of their owner is their burrow.

Chittas are nocturnal and are known to steal valuables from campers in the wild and this is often how they are caught or captured.
When planning on keeping a Chitta as a pet, it is wise to make sure the flooring is from thick wood or stone, as Chittas like to burrow when scared or bored this will prevent them from destroying the flooring or escaping.

They are extremely curious and like to investigate things. They can become obsessed with interesting objects and if they find something they like, they will pick it up and carry it around in one of their tentacles, carrying up to one item in each tentacle. They won't give up their treasured item unless they see something they like more and don't have any other tentacles to pick it up.
Cosmofloofs can be trained with prickle plants, if you don't have any prickle plants, you can also use any prickly leafed plant such as nettles, as they strangely seem to like the texture rather than the taste.
Don't try to domesticate a Cosmofloof with interesting items, as they will take this notion as a gift and will refuse to let go of it.
Cosmofloofs rarely need sleep and will only occasionally nap briefly, meaning that you will have to train your floof very well if you plan on getting any rest at night.
