DESIGN GUIDE

This design sheet covers most relevant information towards designing a Cyllenian. After you read this page, we heavily suggest reading the lore page (linked afterwards) for more information.

Halo Physics:

The size of a halo must never be smaller than a large dangly bracelet or bigger than a hula hoop. We would prefer that halos are kept more as a fashion item instead of a giant ring of Do Not Come Near Me, but what you do with the halo is up to you, really.

A halo's size, placement, and appearance are all the owner's decision and can be changed at will. Halos can never be fully removed from a Cyllenian, and only the owner can properly manipulate it's size and placement. If someone else were to pull on the halo to move it, it will move (despite being very hard to do so). Eventually it'll be too hard to move about 2 feet away from it's original location, and when it's let go, it'll return to where it was on its own.

Growth and Ageing:

If you want to make a Cyllenian that is a child, teen, or elder, go right ahead! Cyllenians can be made at any age at least 7 or older. If you do create an under aged Cyllenian DO NOT make them provocative as many adult Cyllenians are.

Children often miss solid pigmentation that slowly fills in as they grow, these unpigmented patches usually fill by their teens. However, some children are simply not born patchy, and some teens never completely lose their patches. Seniors will often lose their saturation, becoming more pastel with age... This doesn't mean they lose their sense of style, though!

Childrens' rarity tiers are usually determined through their tails as their horns are not fully grown. Teenagers' horns will be much more obvious. Aside from pigment filling in, Cyllenian teens resemble human teens growth-wise. As Cyllenians reach their mid 20s, they age much slower than any human and live up to ages 160-180!

Additional Information:

Aside from guidelines for the rarity tiers, there is one main rule that you MUST abide by. Your Cyllenian must be Transmasculine. But whether they're a binary trans man, nonbinary transmasc, a transmasc lesbian, etc., is up to you!

As for why: There just isn't enough transmasculine ocs, especially feminine ones. While you can still make (non-cis) masculine Cyllenians, this species was created with the intention of encouraging people to create more cool transmasc characters!

Most transmasc characters are incredibly masculine, often looking like a generic cis man with a binder or top surgery scars slapped on... While this isn't inherently bad, it's a little boring to see over and over, and a little disheartening. Transmasc characters are as infinite as cisgendered characters - so please, go wild!

If you've purchased a Cyllenian and it's found that they've been changed to anything but transmasc (especially a cis man/cis woman), you will be blacklisted and any Cyllenians you own will be voided.
