April Bulletin

hello chicups and it's time for a much due bulletin! we've been hard at work for the, hopefully, upcoming grand reopening of chicups slated for the beginning of summer! below are some of the things we've been working on and/or have finished for this time!!

toyhouse masterlist complete!

the toyhouse masterlist has been complete! some of the usernames aren't matching to the toyhouse users they are owned by, so any cooperation to the location of chicups would be helpful! otherwise, i am quite content at the state the masterlist is at now, so please do all masterlist transfers on the toyhouse page chicupmasterlist now! we no longer need the deviantart page for masterlist transfers, so please do all transfers there!

anatomy and species guides complete!

the newly redone species guide and anatomy guides have been complete for the upcoming addition to chicups' forms!! you might see what this is implied on various parts around the toyhouse and discord, but we've left most of what it is as a surprise ;] we are also actively working on visual trait guides to go along with the written trait guide for those who are more visual learners!

three new mascots/npcs complete!

we have also been actively working on three new mascots/npcs for the species, which include a pure chicup, a corrupt chicup, and a pure chicup that owns a shop that will be open when the species reopens! we hope you look forward to these new mascots/npcs!!

cerise's coffer moved to the toyhouse world's forum!

as it is easier to keep track of and more visually pleasing, cerise's coffer has been moved to the toyhouse world's forums!! please conduct all shop sales under the forum post! shroom amounts will still be kept on the chicup bank google doc :]

monthly and flash prompts also moved to the toyhouse world's forum!

as its also easier to keep track of and more visually pleasing, monthly prompts have been moved to the toyhouse world's forums!! also with such, april's monthly prompt has been opened and will be until may 5th! also, keep an eye out for flash prompts for extra shrooms!!

we also have some things planned for the month!!

usd myo sale!!

we are planning to hold a small usd myo sale on the 16th from 8 am CST to 11:59 pm CST which includes 5 common (10 USD each) slots, 3 rare (15 USD each) slots, and 1 unusual (20 USD) slot!

build a chicup stream!!

i am also planning to hold a build a chicup stream sometime during the month in the discord!! there will be two designs made, and both will go up as free raffles! a post will go up a few hours before the stream starts notifying everyone of what time it is and the rules!

ga applications open!!

ga applications are open for the upcoming batch of adopts that will be coming out with the grand reopening of chicups! the theme will be: monster energy drink inspired chicups and will be off base, and we will choose 6 GAs. feel free to apply here if you are interested! applications will be open until the 19th, and will be chosen over the next few days after that!

December Slot/Discord Nitro Raffle

Hello everyone!! We're still hard at work updating the group, and a lot of content is still a w.i.p., so here's a Christmas raffle in the meantime for 10 common slots, 5 rare slots, 3 unusual slots, and a 3 month free Discord Nitro subscription (you have to NOT have had Discord Nitro previously) courtesy of 1-800-RAGNAROK, plus 50 shrooms for every entry! To enter, you must draw or write your Chicup or any of the Chicup mascots enjoying the holiday season, or describing what the holiday season means to them!!

Please be sure your entry is SFW! We don't allow any NSFW content. This includes gore! Light amounts of blood is allowed if it is a part of of your character's design.

A background is not required for this raffle.
The only requirement is at least one colored bust!

All entries will win 50 Shrooms, our group currency and an entry into the slot and Discord Nitro (if specified). One raffle entry per person!

july monthly bulletin

hello everyone, it's time for the july monthly bulletin! we have a lot of small updates this month, but also some fun things including a design raffle and earning shrooms for art fight attacks!

firstly, some updates regarding the things i posted about last month, some trait updates:

the toyhouse masterlist transfer from deviantart is almost complete! me and vaun have finished up all the officials, and just have the myos left to do, so hopefully that will be done by august!
the discord is still being updated as of now, it still has a lot of work to do but i will hopefully achieve getting everything fixed by august/september!
the bank is finally open!! the bank can be found here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tYIGT7gwqsGWuDraDuLfJTQ0RTxknBYkVZ4Q7NTUNr4/edit?usp=sharing) which also has a shopfront with various items and myo slots! also, if you have shrooms from the previous ownership, please feel free to dm me (evaimaginary) or vaun (MrLegendsIV) to get those added to your total!
i have also some important trait updates! firstly, multi-flavor liquids (such as sakura pink lemonade sun tea) are no longer unusual/crossbreed, and any rarities can use them! different eye types (such as dark scleras and shaped pupils) have also been removed from traits and can be used by any rarity! multiple colored horns (such as 3+ colors) also have been removed from traits so any rarity can use them (such as a common chicup using 3+ horn colors)! finally, rare corrupt chicups have now gained a trait, they can have worms and other creepy crawlies in their liquid!
art fight channels have opened in the discord! more details are there about how you can earn 100 shrooms for up to three attacks you do for art fight! also, all users that complete at least one attack will be entered for a raffle for an unusual myo slot!

next up is the part me and vaun have been excited to share: we have a design raffle up with two designs that two winners can receive! take a look at them below!

important species update + new ownership

hello everyone, i come with an important announcement for chicups! but first, i'd like to introduce myself! i'm ray, also known as evaimaginary! you may have seen me in a couple other closed species spaces, and now i have come of ownership of chicups! me and my gf, ichi ( MrLegendsIV ) who will be moderating the species alongside me, hope to make the species the best it can possibly be, if you give us some time, of course!

i have some major plans for the first main hurdle of mine, which includes:

channel updates in the discord!! i added carl bot to fix all the roles and other bot duties as the ichigo bot is no longer in use. so long, ichigo ;; so, expect to see some channels go missing for a while or be having a lot of random text in them while i fix them up! i also added tupperbox for various event stuff, and i might open that up for everyones use! any input about this is great!
masterlist update to th masterlist!! i've noticed the masterlist hasn't been updated in a while, understandably so, and some chicups are missing, so i will go through and update it the best i can as i will be moving the masterlist to toyhouse! this will take a while, so please be patient!
bank update!! as of right now, the old bank is not in use/empty, so i currently don't know all of your item/shroom amounts! but don't fret, i will open a channel for users to contact me or ichi about getting your items back, if anyone has any! i will also create a new bank which includes everyones shroom/item amounts, and will also have a storefront to see what items you can buy!
monthly prompts back in action!! i will be starting up monthly prompts again as soon as possible!! this month's will be pride themed, so look forward to that!
