Hidden far away from the northern continent lies a series of islands, the Iridian archipelago. The archipelago consists of three islands, each island and its surrounding waters run by appointed religious leader following one of the three goddesses Iridians worship. They squabble from time to time but agressions never turn to fighting and when facing the rest of the world they prefer to be seen as one country.

The people who populate them have a variety of fish-like traits that range anywhere from sets of gills to scaled skin to full fish tails instead of legs. Iridians uniquely have safe passage through the seas and trade regularly with the mainland, but they keep the secrets of their travel and their lands secluded. Iridian merchants and craftsmen are well known in the mainland for all sorts of unique goods they trade but most so for the delicately engraved glassware no one else has even come close to replicating.

Beyond the three main islands there is a fourth island hidden beyond an underwater cliff face. This is the island blessed by the traitor goddess where the banished live.
