Chisae

**ABSTRACT**

Chisae is the embodiment of purity and innocence. She takes after her mother in her beauty and grace as well as her sweet temperament. Although she is just a child she seems to be wise beyond her years. She seems to be the perfect mix between Azami and Azrael. She has Azami’s kindness and empathy and Azrael’s courage and outspokenness. She is a natural born leader.

**BACKGROUND**

She may be small, cute, and pink but you better take this one seriously. Wise beyond her years Chisae often finds herself parenting her own parents. She has been doing her best to manage through the strange dynamic which is her mother and father. Some say she was forced to mature too fast due to the neglect she faces from her father and the over parenting which is her helicopter-mother. 

A lot of the adults in her life feel bad for her and try to step in to be a positive influence in her life. She appreciates their effort but sees right through them. Luckily despite her family dynamic she manages to have a positive view on life. She loves her mother and her father and although things could be better for her she is grateful for what she has.

She enjoys spending time playing with the other children but often finds herself taking on a motherly role to them despite being the youngest. She is quiet, confident, and calculating which often kills the mood when playing with others. She does not seem to have much of an imagination so she does not always understand the pretend games they play with each other. She does enjoy a good game of tag though.

She knows her mother is terrified that her father might turn her into some new age prankster by taking her along on his escapades but she has nothing to worry. Chisae gets little joy from pranking people. The joy she does experience is spending time with her father. In fact, a lot of jokes tend to go over her head and she has a difficult time understanding humor in the first place.

**RELATIONSHIPS**

**Azami** Her mother and main caretaker in her life. She is grateful for how hard she tries to take care of her but often wishes she would back off a little. She tends to come across as too intense and too caring if that is even possible. She loves her mother and often finds herself parenting her in return as she does tend to be oblivious. She finds herself chasing off many a suitor as Azami never realizes when men are coming on to her.

**Azrael** Many say her father is a deadbeat who should do more to be in her life but Chisae almost values how much independence he gives her. It is nice not to be smothered by someone in her life. She is sad that he never quite knows how to talk to her. All she wants is for him to be proud of her and is often frustrated when her efforts go over his head. She hopes that one day he will see her as a person of her own.

**Aiko** Chisae appreciates Aiko. She loves spending time with her in the grove and admiring nature with her. She is basically her honorary Aunt despite technically being her cousin. Aiko has a way of making her feel understood and respected. She is never too pushy and respects her boundaries while also giving her the care she needs as a child.
