Nobuyuki's Links
Nobuyuki looks up to Isao for several reasons, his wisdom, his kindness and most of all, his *patience*. What that man can put up with ASTOUNDS him.
He thinks he's sweet and approachable, and can often be found huddling up to him.
Obsessed with him. Adorable, but strange. Isao has to admit he finds his sudden shift in personality of his calmness at home and his excitable behaviour in public... A bit suspicious, but seeing as how Nobuyuki was never really out for (particularly harmful) trouble, he decides to trust him. Thinks he's a bit of a handful sometimes, but is still very fond of him.
A TOTAL HUNK! Nobuyuki's affections for Rikuto mostly come from his physique, but he'd be lying if he said he doesn't find his lack of patience amusing. He enjoys bullying him a bit from time to time, but only ever with small, insignificant little annoyances. Their bond isn't that deep, to be honest, but they certainly have times of enjoying eachother's company.
Little shit, but a cute little shit. Rikuto is all bark and no bite around him, often exaggerating his emotions just because he knows it amuses Nobuyuki. Don't tell him that, though.
A little cuddlebug, enjoys taking time with him to share affections, but quickly grows frustrated when Nobuyuki attempts to explain to him what phone apps do.
More of a best friend than a lover, a partner in crime. They do kiss though so there's that.
The one in the house who he gets along with best, finds him incredibly fun company and is the only one who he visits humans with. Usually to bully them.
Dipshit Duo, makes the biggest pair of avid troublemakers together with him.
The one person he knows who truly understands the wonder of schadenfreude. Itsuo enjoys Nobuyuki's company the most and isn't scared to let him know that by clinging onto him constantly. He makes a lot of effort to try and understand his industry, too. Nobuyuki's #1 fan!
Dipshit Duo, makes the biggest pair of avid troublemakers together with him.
Will do whatever is in his capacity to make this man's life hell. By. Making fun of his voice cracks I guess.
Actually admires his talent, but is putting maximum effort in to dropkick him off his high horse. Might chill down once Higgy starts being less of a jerk to his fellow group members.
... Might. ;)
(Hinimato Act III/IV-ish. Higgy is 21+)
Became rivals with Nobuyuki after making one bad remark about his makeup choices. Ever since, Higgy's life has never known peace whenever Nobuyuki's in the vicinity. Higgy gets the vague feeling this is some sort of punishment for how he's treated people in the past and accepts it as such. This doesn't stop Higgy from sassing him, though, whenever he can. Despite this, Higgy secretly admires Nobuyuki's singing and makeup skills, but refuses to adopt them because he's stubborn about his own abilities being better.
100% Son Material. The only reason Nobuyuki doesn't speak up about Toni's horrible fashion sense is because he's so adorable. And because he doesn't want to break his spirit, like a certain someone has been doing. Incredibly fond of him, enjoys teaching him all sorts of things about their field, seeing as how he's been in it for years and is way ahead of him in experience. Hasn't belittled him for that even once, though. Nobuyuki is fully aware the kid's got a lot of potential.
(Hinimato Act III/IV-ish. Toni is 19+)
It's always nice to have another friend that will protect Toni, and Nobuyuki is no exception. Despite his relationship with Higgy, he seems very gentle and kind! He doesn't have any animosity toward Higgy or Nobuyuki, so he never joins in on their bickering, unlike when Maxy is involved. Toni looks forward to Nobuyuki teaching him what he needs in order to survive in the industry, not wanting to be kicked out of Benji's a second time.
Nobuyuki thinks Maxy's a total riot of a guy, albeit a bit too... Rowdy. That says a lot coming from him of all people. Not-so-secretly thinks he's a total goof. Has a lot of fun hanging out with him, as they have about the same sense of humor. Thinks he's charming, and absolutely adorable at times, and clings to him as much as possible.
An enemy of my enemy is my friend. Together, Nobuyuki and Maxy form Higgy's worst nightmare.
Bonus~Bonus, again, it wouldn't be Nobuyuki if he didn't fall for the guy who gave him the slightest bit of kind attention. Is there no end to this stupid bird's affections? Absolutely not!
Casual delinquency and bonding through activities such as getting their ears pierced together and squatting in places they shouldn't, along with Maxy's general friendliness towards him, turned into some SERIOUS affections. Which, after spending enough time together, turned out to be mutual! Long story short, they're dating.
Nobuyuki enjoys being with Maxy, mostly for the reason that he in general is just a cool guy. Not for the leather, denim, motorbikes and loudness, but for his personality. He thinks Maxy is brave for deciding to date someone of his age and experience, despite having 0 experience himself. That, and he enjoys how silly he is at times, and thinks that him turning into a sweaty mess at affectionate gestures is just really cute.
Maxy makes him feel relaxed, special and stronger than he feels with his other 4 partners, which he appreciates. So yes, he loves him.
(Hinimato Act III/IV-ish. Maxy is 20+)
An enemy of an enemy is my friend. When Nobuyuki got back at Higgy for criticizing his false lashes, Maxy knew he had to hang out with this guy.
Maxy can usually be seen hanging around Nobuyuki whenever Higgy is in the vicinity. He says it's to "give his new mentor some emotional support". It's the other way around. He tries to keep up his cool guy persona around Nobuyuki, but like with most people he likes, he tends not to notice that he's a bit too giddy around them/needy for their attention for it to work.
Nobuyuki transformed into a bird to sleep in his hair once; that was weird.
When Nobuyuki’s was going through a rough spot, Maxy took it upon himself to cheer up his new bird friend. What initially started out as mild curiosity about what it would be like for someone to have a crush on him (despite his hundreds of adoring fans) bloomed into a loving relationship he didn’t even know he needed. Aside from his mother and a close friend of his, Maxy didn’t have anyone to emotionally connect with. Nobi’s gentle nature made it easier for Maxy to open up to, though he still had trouble at first. Embarrassed about his own lack of experience compared to Nobuyuki’s centuries-worth, he had a tendency to lie and make excuses when he wasn’t comfortable with something. Nobi makes him learn how to communicate eventually and it all works out. Maxy thinks Nobi is a cool guy, not just because he can shut Higgy up (sometimes). Maxy appreciates that Nobi is willing to put up with him even though he can be kind of a clumsy bonehead.
t wouldn't be Nobuyuki if he didn't kind of favor the group dreamboat. Nicky kind of reminds him of Isao, in the sense of being absolutely huge and having seemingly infinite patience. He's very fond of him, enjoying his company the most for his kindness and genuine, friendly curiosity when they talk.
He'd be lying if he said he didn't have a bit of a crush on him, though.
(Hinimato Act III/IV-ish. Nicky is 20+)
Nicky thinks Nobuyuki is an interesting guy. He thinks that about most people, but the fact still stands.
Nicky doesn't involve himself in Nobuyuki's rivalry with Higgy, but even he has to admit that Nobuyuki's pranks are quite creative. Nicky always secretly liked Higgy's voice cracks, and thought Nobuyuki's idea to make a soundfont out of them was brilliant. If done without malice, he believes it could be innovative.
Best friend in the whole wide world! Or well, the human world. Nobuyuki and Tsuki have a scary lot in common and thus get along very well. Nobuyuki thinks Tsuki is sweet, approachable and overall a blast to be with. He feels like he can tell her just about anything and like he can rely on her. He'd spend a lot more time with her if he weren't so busy.
Most importantly though, they LOVE to diss the same guy, so there's a good base to a good friendship.
(Hinimato Act III/IV-ish. Tsuki is 21+)
Tsuki was thrilled to work with Nobuyuki. An established star from Japan coming to Jiyukoku State was a rarity. A blessing even! She was determined to give him a warmer welcome than anyone could dream of! After all, if he liked it there, maybe relations with Japan as a whole would improve. But Tsuki wasn’t just interested in the international benefits; she wanted to get to know one of her favorite stars. Initially, she was a bit surprised at his calm disposition, opposed to his loud stage personality, but she could relate, even though her case was the opposite. They related to each other on many things, leading them to become close friends. The two have sleepovers, do each other’s hair, tell backstage horror stories, etc. Tsuki trusts Nobi enough to tell him things she’d never let anyone know, and hopes to gain that same trust from him. He does end up telling her that he has disdain for a certain star he works with, a disdain she understands all too well…
Nobuyuki loves Kazue dearly, grateful for his love and care, but really... Sometimes the man is too intense, even for him! He loves the wild and reckless love inside him, and like all his other lovers reveres him in some way... But somewhere, Nobuyuki much more wishes for a casual and cozy love!
The only one more obsessed with sexy & adorable little Nobuyuki is Isao. Kazue was the first to be thoroughly wrapped up around Nobuyuki's little talon, incapable of resisting the young man's charms. Does absolutely everything Nobuyuki demands, and is probably his biggest fan. Unlike Isao, Kazue actually kind of gets what being a celebrity is all about, and is very proud of his achievements!
