Profile

the last of his kind for many centuries. isao’s family was murdered centuries ago, and he has been fueled by a burning hatred of humans since. the coming years of waging war against them certainly did not help. it was isao who reached out to kazue to help him win this war, and who eventually led them to victory.
isao was long jaded by the time he reached kazue, a mess of a man fueled by nothing but vengeance and a desire to settle things. to find someone so similarly miserable to him perk up so quickly, and take to him with such kindness... could you blame him for getting so attached?

isao is collected, patient, and responsible. deep down, he trusts nobody but himself, which is the primary reason he prefers to take charge of anything he may be part of. after such a long time of loneliness, he simply cannot help depending on himself so much. and yet, he can be brutally honest. isao has a sharp tongue, and dares to say all with a gentle smile on his face. his composure seems impenetrable, and those who do dare to face him are met with fierce retaliation. his grudges know no bounds, and neither do his scepticism and distrust.

only his family could crack his composure. not just his lovers, but an unexpected newcomer, as well. by pure chance, around the end of the war, isao would come to adopt a human daughter. she was but a baby when he picked her up, and though he detests humans, he could not blame an orphaned infant for the sins of her kind. during the time he raised her, he was uncharacterically gentle. no matter her species, she was his daughter, and the happiness she brought him was one of the many motivators to end the war. he simply wanted this peaceful life to stay forever, but he didn’t remember to take into account that his daughter was mortal.

it has now been centuries since everything. the war, his daughter‘s death... isao by now is an old man, and much like his other partners, is starting to get a bit bored. the world outside of kuromori has been progressing at high speeds, and he feels too overwhelmed to even try and catch up. the man has severe time lag, but doesn’t mind, either. he much prefers more traditional forms of recreation anyway. he says that to avoid having to deal with the fact he still doesn’t know how a microwave works.
