Profile

the great grandson of Abe no Seimei, the legendary onmyōji. the gift of the supernatural would be passed on from father to daughter, mother to son, but it skipped a generation with his grandfather. he was abducted by his grandparents soon after birth, who recognized his magic potential. kazue would be trained to become a ruthless onmyōji, one to end the centuries long war between humans and spirits. he was raised sheltered, to have earthly desires beaten out of him, his personality almost a blank slate.
it was when kazue turned 19 that he was approached by isao. isao was the last remaining survivor of his kind, and was getting desperate. humans wouldn’t listen to the spirits, so... perhaps, they would listen to another human. or rather, many more humans. he taught kazue the same art he used to gain his own human form, and the two of them went on a frenzy to form as many psuedo-humans as they could. to give beasts a voice, seemed like the only way to reconcile.
it is truly a shame they did not listen, truly a shame indeed. and so, isao took the flames he once wished to douse, and turned them against his enemies.

kazue gladly let himself get swept away by this curious man. he grew up sheltered, spoonfed a strict sense of right and wrong. now, he realized everything he had once learned was wrong, and the ones he was designed to kill were in fact the ones that needed saving the most. he had free will of a sudden. kazue then showed a drive he had never shown before. he was sickened, and resented the species he was never allowed to bond with anyway. he was through with being a human, he wanted to transcend, and become part of the people who showed him nothing but kindness.

his skills as an onmyōji seemed to give him a bit of a head-start. kazue’s arcane powers grew with great strides, at frightening speeds that caught his mentor off guard. there was a ruthlessness hidden in this man, one that isao found... fascinating. training side by side, the two of them lit a certain spark — a tension, yet immense mutual respect. when kazue finally fulfilled his training and became superhuman, the two gave in, and became lovers. isao’s fascination with kazue’s power turned to obsession, to worship. any semblance of a mentor-student dynamic they once had faded with the wind. kazue was curious about him, thankful... truly, he loved him.

love. what a wonderful feeling. wonderful enough to get addicted to. to feel so special in the eyes of another... it is no wonder he gathered many more lovers after isao. kazue became an intense man, a being of love and power. though he became compassionate in his heart, with well-timed fury he could unleash freely at any who dared to stand in his way. make no mistake, his first motivation in life was power. kazue turned to a passionate lover, and an equally passionate warrior.

kazue became legendarily powerful, though truly isao was the mastermind behind their strategies. by now they had amassed an army, one that would take care of the injustices towards youkai. the spirit world has chosen him as their leader, though he was truly more of a figurehead. he’s never been the smartest, simply the strongest. anywhere he went, victory would follow. it was no wonder the forces of japan were driven to desperation soon enough, and yet, even when the army was fully open to negotiate, they still refused youkai their peace.

and so, they made their own peace. their old base became a castle, and its surroundings were ripped from reality and into a pocket dimension. now, they can finally live in safety, in peace.
to much of the rest of the house’s dismay though, kazue has become... bored. spoiled, even. he now has nothing to fight for, he can simply live in leisure, and an incredibly unexpected lazy side has come out. when not posing as a serene and all-powerful king, kazue is a slob, and consistently bugs his lovers for attention. isao should not complain, the man is his everything, but... my god, does this guy ever LET UP?
