Mallaidh (The Journey)'s Literatures

As usual, Link is up late. He doesn't sleep well most nights, preferring to stare into the fire and zone out. This night is different, though. Hawkes returns from a patrol and catches the younger boy awake, despite the others all being fast asleep. Link offers to let the man sit with him, and they share a quiet moment together.

Link holds darkness in his heart. Mallaidh is the only one who knows the depth of it, how far Link could sink. After Hawkes is nearly beheaded in Wonderland, his rage overtakes him, directed at the true 'culprit' of Hawkes' 'crimes'. Mallaidh is the only one who can call him back.

The group's been together for awhile now, growing closer by the day. Link, Hawkes, and Mallaidh are now in some sort of relationship, and they enjoy their arrangement greatly. Things are going well, overall, until Kyrielle goes missing in Wonderland. Link and Hawkes search for her, and Hawkes ends up in a perilous situation.
