About
Onyxpelt is a headstrong and opinionated elder who isn't shy on boasting about his daring and thrilling adventures from his glory days. He can get very grumpy and defensive if proven wrong or having his insecurities revealed.
He adored his now deceased mate with every part of his soul and he was completely crushed when she passed. His grief made him very ill for a long time on top of becoming less capable of hunting and helping the clan out due to his age.
Relationships
As his grandnephew and to him a reflection of his younger self he feels a strong responsibility in caring for Ashkit. Even if they have little in common they share much of their free time together. Ashkit enjoys his lessons and is Onyxpelt's favorite pupil, he appreciates Ashkit's patience and quietness in comparison to the restless and loud Duskkit and Featherkit.
The kits' births and his new role of sharing his wisdom helped him make a recovery in the end, although he still deals with a lot of sadness he has become more passionate, loving and caring.

Having dealt with loss himself he felt great pity for the small and quiet kit, they get along well and are very close. Ashkit is that of a grandson to him.

He takes great pride in his son; knowing his strict parenting have laid the foundation of his many great talents. He only regrets falling short on being a caring and loving father figure.
Coalclaw [ Rival/friend ]
They bickered and boasted all the time but secretly enjoyed each others' company. They had many years of trust built up between them despite their many differences.
