Marlin Spears

Marlin, odd as he is, is incredibly excited and passionate about anything having to do with the ocean and its life; that's where he came from after all! He loves to ramble on about everything he knows about the topic, which seems to be a never-ending list. He's a beloved figure around the Institute, even by those who don't care much for Marine Biology as a subject, because of his social and friendly demeanor. Nobody seems to truly mind how eccentric he is or that he keeps walls lined with tanks of freaky and unsettling abyssal animals in the back of his teaching room. That's just how he is, and they love him for it!

Marlin is just simply the kind of person you call if you want your nails painted, or an opinion on an outfit, or relationship advice, or a long explanation on how bioluminescence works.
