Pip's Links
Pip is a dutiful older brother and takes care of Na'im even at the cost of his own health. He ensures that Na'im is well fed even if that means that he himself will not get to eat. He feels that he is responsible for Na'im and always protects him as best he can since he feels in the past he failed his little brother when their parents died after The Culling.
Na'im loves his older brother dearly but he thinks that Pip works too hard and doesn't take care of himself enough. He often worries for his brother's health, being oblivious to any skipped meals that the older kimon endures.
Pip, being slightly racist towards humans, only humors business with Milenko. While he is the employer of Miir, he does not extend the same courtesies of doing favors for Milenko unless urged for the doggoon's sake. He dislikes the fact that Vesz is being raised by this man.
Pip is grateful to the doggoon mercenary for caring for him and Na'im when they were younger and lived in the orphanage with the displaced doggoon and kimon refugees. Because of this, the mechanic happily doesn't mind doing favors to help Miir out.
When Pip was younger Miir would often visit him and Na'im at the orphanage for those who had been displaced by the tragedies of human violence against "lesser races," known as The Culling. Miir respects Pip for the dutiful labors he endured to ensure his brother and the other orphans had a better life. While Miir denies playing favourites, he was quite fond of the young kimon for taking responsibility despite the hardships placed before him.
Pip is somewhat protective of Vesz since he is Na'im's best friend, and due to his hostilities towards Milenko. Even though Vesz typically tries to reassure Pip as well as Na'im that Milenko isn't a bad guy, Pip can't put aside his concerns for the young doggoon.
Vesz doesn't understand Pip's hostility towards Milenko probably because he was too young to remember a lot of the horrors they went through during The Culling or maybe he's blocking it out. Regardless he wishes that Pip could put aside the anger and see Milenko for the kindness he has bestowed on the Doggoon when he raised him in the first place.
