Chased down by many governments, tribe leaders and the like, Matthew has a habit of impersonating important people for fun.

An inter-dimensional joker

He takes pride in his disguises, which he uses for all sorts of things. Jokes, memes, money, fame, a few lovers here and there. Here's the problem; most people don't like being fooled, especially by some little bastard who keeps disappearing every time he gets caught.

Most dimensions he's gone through remember him as a local legend or part of a bigger conspiracy theory. Many love him and miss their moments with him. Others plot their next movements when he "inevitably returns". Little do they know that when Matthew crosses a dimension once, he's likely never to return again...

The last ones had the audacity to not only catch him in the act of impersonating a ringleader, but also proceeded to beat him up so bad, they ripped his scarf apart. That scarf... That was one detrimental blow Matthew couldn't risk taking. Half a second later he materialised in some noble-looking quarters with a tattered cloak and a headache. A broken item can do a lot to a dimenller's physical health. A servant walking in kindly answered all his questions about his whereabouts, despite their concerned look. Apparently Matt was the prince of Soarway... and the lone heir to the throne.

KG-0008: A hopeless romance of the prince and the servant

Without much hope of escape, Matthew settled down in KG-0008, having much fun in the noble duties of a prince. It was almost refreshing to feel so much at ease after so many years of playing cat and mouse. That little servant of his took care of him as if he was royalty; which, admittedly, he was. They were... lovely, in all meanings of the word. However, it wasn't long until his dreamlike days in the palace faded away. A power-hungry uncle murdering his "father", imprisoning Matthew and claiming the throne; all cliched things one would see in a fantasy drama. Yet, what had shaken Matt more was not the loss of the king, no... it was the loss of the servant who had sworn to protect him to the end. Shuffling around in the prison, he shuddered at the memory he was forced to...

...It was a miraculous coincidence that the two ill-dressed prisoners who joined his cell were also dimenllers. Butter and Beth coming forth to rescue their first new "friend". Matt had only one request before they left for OO-0000; give his love a proper burial. And so, the three of them snuck out in search of the body. A simple carving on a stone plaque served as the tomb of the little servant. After a few tearful words, they vanished, never to return to that world ever again.

• His favourite colour is firebrick red.

• Because of his shapeshifting abilities, he can use any pronouns. However, he prefers he/him pronouns for his original self.
• His voice does not change, but he can imitate other people's voices pretty well.
• The only things that don't change when he shapeshifts are his eyes.
• He can change the appearance of other people as well but it takes immense concentration to keep it up.
• He likes dressing in primary colours.
• Despite looking very young, he's had plenty of experiences.
• He's the first dimenller to join Gordon and Boba's s q u a d.
• I originally made him to be Gordon's love interest but that never worked out lol.
• His hat is inspired by Boyfriend's hat from fnf.
• Why does he emanate strong Brendon Urie energy? All P!ATD songs I like fit him really hard.

Relationships

Tam  [ love interest ]

Tam has been the most recent and arguably one of Matthew's most boring relationships. However, to him it's been the most real. Tam was devoted to him from the start, due to being his servant in KG-0008. What was surprising is the passion they both shared for each other. Tam would do anything in their power to protect Matt, to make him feel better through anything. Matt would only feel... fuzzy inside. He misses them a lot...

Timothy  [ frenemy ]

He was the one to fix up his scarf and ultimately bring back his shapeshifting to its full potential. Timothy is a brilliant inventor but that's what makes it so tempting to annoy him constantly. Mimicking him, moving his things, stealing a couple of papers here and there, Timothy always overreacts, so he's a pure joy to toy with.

Gordon  [ friend ]

It was a bit awkward for Gordon and Beth to find him the way he was, that wasn't part of his whole style. So, he rarely talks about how the two met. What he talks about instead are his other, way more exciting adventures just before KG-0008. Gordon seems to worry about him but whatever he has going on is none of her concern.

Ryan  [ partner in crime ]

Ryan is a quiet part of the team, but to Matt they're one of the interesting bunch. They might be looking like they hate their life (they probably do) yet, they always come around when Matthew is up to any shenanigans. Yeah they will scold him and complain but they'll go along with it for a bit; a good accomplice.

Oliver  [ old sympathetic man ]

An old dude joins the team! Who cares? He rarely talks but - unlike Ryan - he is insistent on being left alone. Oliver is not fun enough to joke around with. He seems to hold many secrets, but until one of them cracks them, he can't make punchlines with the guy. However, he might just be the only one in the group who knows of his pain with love and romance.

Beth  [ who? ]

She rescued him with Gordon but didn't leave much of an impression on him. Beth and Matt don't really interact much, mostly due to the former sticking too close to Butter for the most part. She isn't exempt from gags but when you're met with just angry glaring after a joke... it's not that tempting of an idea.
