Formerly one of the most vicious members of rogue gang The Stones, Slate was captured by Twolegs, taken to the cutter, and rehomed. He can still see the hard streets he grew up on from his apartment window, but Slate has taken to his comfortable kittypet retirement. Just don't tell his old friends.
Relationships
Granite is the ruthless leader of Slate's former rogue gang, The Stones. Slate respects their shared machismo and Granite's willingness to do whatever it takes to protect "his people."
Gravel was new to the streets when Slate left, but they met when she was apprentice-aged and she visits him sometimes.
Billi & Gilly: Silly mollies who live down the street and love to gossip. Slate does not care for them.
