Thrushfur

Background

One of the last living cats of Old StoneClan, Thrushfur struggles to provide for her own family, but she will always stretch a little thinner to take in a mother in need. 

Her mother was pregnant with her during the fall of StoneClan, and her parents tried their best to teach her the clan's ways. She knows a little bit about basic herbs, the Warrior Code, and StoneClan traditions, but she was very young and it was a long time ago.

Relationships

Cherviltail & Whistlingwren are Thrushfur's beloved daughters. Conceived long after Thrushfur was convinced she would never have kits of her own, both she-cats have their own struggles that Thrushfur tries to help them through as best she can.

Doeblaze & Sneezepuff: two of the many kits that Thrushfur has helped deliver throughout the seasons, these young wanderers always make a point to stop by and say hello when they're in the area.

Charlie and Thrushfur have a complicated relationship. Thrushfur had heard stories of her while growing up, but they only met, briefly, as adults. They have mutual respect for the other's role in their clan, but they don't always see eye-to-eye. Nevertheless, nobody else quite knows the struggles that these two aging mothers from Old StoneClan share.

Trivia

• Thrushfur and the father of her kits were not together for long, and he never met their daughters. There were two other kits in Thrushfur's litter, one of whom was stillborn and one who succumbed to the infection that struck Whistlingkit.
• Thrushfur learned how to midwife for the local cats from a now-deceased kittypet in Twolegplace.
• Thrushfur is heterosexual, but she has lately been trying to use more gender-inclusive language in her work for the sake of her daughters.
