Sol

"Never in his life had Apollo seen such a spikey dragon. Everything about him from his attitude, the way he stood, his shades of red and orange and finally, the actual spikes and spines on him, felt incredibly dangerous. He had seen magma dragons before, but never this close, and instantly he knew why most people wanted to stay away from them. The whole room seemed to heat up around Sol's presence, or maybe it was just the feeling of everyone backing away to give the magma dragon, and most importantly, his club tail, space."

Sol has a chip on his shoulder. Growing up with 8 sisters and 4 brothers made him feel unnoticed and uncared for by those around him. Magma dragons are very into the whole "tough love" act, and they really do believe that only the strongest deserve to live. In an effort to be seen and appreciated by his father, Sol spent his whole life trying to get by and out do his siblings. Sadly, his father and most of his siblings can be quite abusive at times. And when things crossed a line and got a little too hot (literally, as Magma Dragons live in and around volcanic activity), Sol fled to the Dragonic Academy.

Sol struggles not to be a bully to those around him. He's never truly felt a lot of power, so the commanding look he gets from the other young dragons makes him feel a satisfaction he's craved for so long. He accidentally makes jokes at other peoples expense, and truly thinks he's the strongest dragon at the academy. Despite it all, he does have a soft spot for Apollo, not that he would admit that to ANYONE, even Apollo himself.

Magma dragons have the ability to use their tail club for attack/defence, as well as shoot spines/spikes from it off like a projectile. He brought (stole) obsidian armour from home rather than obtaining something from the academy. The armour gives him enhanced healing abilities (which helps his tail spines grow back much quicker after release) and overly gives him a lot more energy and strength. He also has very powerful flame breath.
