Paso

The tall, dark and sardonic curator of Lotus's only public library. Like everyone in the city, he suffered memory loss after the incident of destruction; in Paso's case, it's quite severe, with him not remembering anything of his past or even his real name. Perhaps due to this, he's often in a dour mood, although it's hard to say whether or not that's simply his natural state of being. He is an extremely practical and straightforward man who expects respect to be given and his rules to be followed, and he has little patience for people he considers fools or annoyances. His temper is short, but his anger is more often expressed as cold disregard and dismissal rather than fiery rage. It's difficult to earn his respect, and even more difficult to hold a casual conversation with him.

Despite this, he's a very reliable character, and even if they don't get along with him, most of the other residents of Lotus depend on him and consider him a trustworthy man. Furthermore, he is extremely clever and knowledgeable about a vast number of subjects, and thus, even though he doesn't enjoy the role, he often has people coming to him seeking help with their problems. Paso often has unorthodox solutions.

 He is very serious and practical, and doesn't actually appear to have any hobbies aside from working to the outside viewer. In actuality, he enjoys cooking, caring for fish, and - of course - reading. Surprisingly, he's a romantic at heart.

He can fly, but he can't start from a still position, and typically needs to jump off a high ledge of some kind.
