Ugo Vengel

Homeless and jobless resident of Lotus who usually stays in the steeple of what's left of the church. Ugo does not remember much about who he was before the incident of destruction; it's as if he suddenly awoke in a strange, unwieldy body. Ashamed of his odd appearance and feeling disconnected from reality thanks to his lack of memories, he keeps to himself much of the time, stewing in his own melancholy. He is soft-spoken and kind to those he meets, but feels as though he cannot connect to them - how can he, when he's not even connected to himself? In reality, he's incredibly lonely.

His sole joy in life seems to be singing. His angelic voice can often be heard around sunset, ringing in the church ruins. In truth, he'd rather play an instrument, but he doesn't have enough fingers for it.

He has a self-deprecating sense of humor and does his best not to get in anyone's way; even small words of praise and reassurance will make his whole day.

Somehow, he seems to get along with Paso, and occasionally takes refuge in the library.

Peanut butter is his favorite food.
