Profile

I watched Sky High again in the first time in like 10 years... So i stole things that movie slaps HARD.

Personality:

Stubborn - Grouchy - Team-focused - Self-sacrificing - Caring - Hot-headed

Powers/Abilities:

Fired Up!: Firearm can ignite his arms and blow fire through his mouth. Firearm can control how controlled or wild the fire is, sometimes creating massive flames or powerful, precise bursts. This also includes warming his arms up to burn an opponent. However, his flame is connected to his adrenaline levels, so becoming too angry or excited can activate his flame without him meaning to.

Strength: Through years of strict conditioning of his body, Firearm is quite strong, although nothing to match his co-worker's super strength.

Main Character Immunity: Firearm can take an insane amount of should-be lethal damage, but since he is my skrungle, he will not die. He will, however, suffer immensely.

Extended BIO:

Eddy Klein was given to a foster care system as a baby. There was no evaluation on who his parents were or who brought him there.

In foster care, Eddy made friends, but once his abilities began to settle in, he burned those who played with him and singed the toys in the daycare. The foster attendants wound up placing him somewhere else, away from children and around heat-resistant objects and furniture, having to entertain Eddy with television while the figured out where to set him. Eddy couldn't understand why he was being taken away from his friends and why he accidently hurt them. He even had to sleep on special, uncomfortable beds so he didn't accidently start the foster care on fire while he slept.

As he grew up, Eddy just got more and more distant, since that is how he was raised to be. Away from people so he doesn't hurt them. He learned on his own how to control himself, but he always had a temper. He easily lashed out, causing a lot of the rooms in the care place to have ashen scars on the walls and granting him a place at a juvenile center for troubled teenagers. At 18, Eddy left the care system on his own terms, tired of having to be fussed over and treated like a walking bomb. He lived on the streets, doing petty crime to get by. He joined a gang to get shelter during a nasty winter, but they were caught and thrown in jail. That is where an officer found out Eddy had abilities and contacted the EIDF. He was visited by a member of Team A - but not just any member, the leader of the entire Facility. Eddy was granted a chance to work as a hero and learn how to control his abilities, starting at Team C where he would be granted food and shelter as well as training. Eddy accepted, now preferring to be called by his chosen superhero name, Firearm.

As the years passed, Firearm proved to be a valuable asset to the EIDF. He was team-orientated, powerful, and had the true heart of a great hero. He became a part of Team A by the time he was 21, making him one of the youngest members. His spot on the high-ranking team was heavily controversial, but the leader was confident in Firearm. When the leader retired along with his team A, he appointed Firearm as the leader of the Facility and put the responsibility of ushering in a new wave of supers into the world in his hands. During his first year as leader, a tragedy struck where him and a new hero to Team A, Invisa-Girl, were on a field mission and she was killed by Mercenary, a sly and dangerous Team B threat. This sparked a powerful rivalry between the two and began a spiral of over-working, obsessive behavior in keeping every member safe and keeping himself in constant shape that he's never been able to crawl out of.

Firearm has now been the leader for the Facility for 7 years now, and has built a reputation for being reliable and fair, but also a hard-ass and typically hard to talk to. Although, his shell is beginning to crack a little as the newer members to this facility begin to crack their way into his heart.
