Firearm's Links
Retriever is a powerful hero, but he needs to learn his place. He's no longer the only hero in the city. He's on a team now. He needs to stop trying to be the leader and realize that's Firearm's position. So stop being so .... likeable!
Firearm didn't like him very much when he was new. Garrett doesn't wanna step on anyone's toes, especially not his. It might take a long time for them to see eye to eye, but they'll be friends yet! He's sure of it.
A capable kid, probably the most out of Team C right now. Firearm hopes Clover's slacker tendencies doesn't rub off on him.
Firearm always seems a little disappointed in him. Maybe it's just his face... he has a constant scowl all the time. He looks up to him and appreciates how sure of himself Firearm is. He wants to impress him somehow... but he doesn't have to guts to try anything too crazy.
Brooke is a solid member. Firearm can tell she may have some self-esteem issues that blocks her from fulfilling her full protentional, but that's common in Team C. It will pass.
Firearm is kinda... intense. She tried to take his powers once, but he got huffy at that. It was fun, though! Even if she needed to get some burns treated afterward. She wonders if he thinks she has potential as a Team B hero.
Paladin is ... special. At least Firearm feels she is. She always sees past his anger and always wants to help him relax or take care of himself. She's one of the only people Firearm never looks at in a business-sense. She's a true friend and he feels bad for pushing her advice or help away when he's been too angry.
Firearm is not the person he pretends to be. He wants to be an unthinking machine, but he's human. And she loves that! She just wishes he would accept the limitations that it meant. She loves spending time with him, and hopes her constant worrying for his poor heart isn't overstepping their boundaries as friends.
Rhys is a fantastic mechanic and a brilliant inventor. He's glad the Facility has its technology in such capable hands.
Mr. Klein is a steadfast hero, no matter how many personal problems he faces! However Rhys can help, he will. It's hard work being the Force leader.
The bastard that took so much from him. His teammate, his time, his ... sanity. Firearm has spent so much energy on Mercenary that there was a time where he couldn't focus on anything else but revenge. Even after all their confrontations, he still wants nothing more than to kill Mercenary. If not just to avenge the Hero he killed all those years ago.
Oh, Firearm. If he can't give him a slow death, he can at least take up 44% of his mind at any given moment. Firearm took everything from him- the least Mercenary plans to do is return the favor, and then some, but in a fun, sexy way.
Firearm can't make heads or tails of what she talks about most of the time, but it's very nice to still have a member of the older heros around. It's fun to reminisce on the past, but Firearm gets more and more distant from thinking about his time as a young hero as leader. Still, Zodia is one of the only people who can convince him to take a break.
Firearm is SUCH a Scorpio sun, Aries moon, and Capricorn rising. He was wild before he became leader... she kinda misses it every now and then. But you can't run a facility of this size without sacrificing something. For Firearm, it seems he sacrificed his entire social life. He totally needs to take a couple weekends off... then again, all that overtime is probably getting him some serious bank. No wonder he never takes those sponsorships or guest appearances...
Somedays Firearm wishes Wolf would just listen to his orders without question. Somedays he appreciates Wolf's pushback. It helps him get out of his own head. Not that he would say that out loud to him. They're both too proud.
Wolf is a fantastic hero. A shoe-in for Team A if he would accept his offer.
Firearm's the leader, but he's also kind of a prick sometimes. He remembers all the hot water the old heroes got into when Firearm was the new leader. Most of that wasn't his fault, but Wolf isn't going to bow down and just accept everything he says without proof. For all the pushing he does, he respects Firearm, deep down. He knows what he's doing, and he harbors no genuine ill will against him.
Firearm is scary! Scary cool! And just regular scary. Beanie was more-or-less forced to join the superheroes after one of them saw his little, um, "quirk". Him being the Commissioner's son may have a little bit to do with it... but honestly, he's not too pressed about it. It's kinda exciting being a hero! Even if he's pretty sure Firearm wouldn't hesitate to kill him if he lost control, it's gonna be such a nice addition to his resume!
Firearm was originally irritated that the higher ups put a high schooler in Team B, but after seeing his potential and skills, he understands why. He sees so much in Kid. He sees a future leader. He sees a Team A hero. He sees himself, to an extent. He also knows just how overwhelming it all is.
If he could, he would rip all the attention Kid Psycho gets away from Lance so he can have some kind of separation, despite his insistence on not having alter egos.
Firearm is his mentor. If not officially, then on every other level besides. He looks up to Firearm immensely; his ability to focus and compartmentalize seems to come so easily to him. Kid hopes to live up to Firearm's expectations. He still feels guilty that he never had a proper chance to prove himself before being assigned to team B... he doesn't want anyone (especially Firearm) to think he's some egotistical jerk.
Firearm wishes Urien would stop ... trying so hard with him. Firearm has been fine coping with the events of his life on his own. Sure he can have his "episodes" but those are rare. He hates getting asked about his emotions and talking about things in his life. It hurts. He doesn't want to talk about them. End of story.
Trevino is fine. Just an agent to report to. Nothing more.
Firearm and him are the same age, and he remembers their fight during the ESI raid clearly. He remembers his entire life and family being ripped away from him because of the Force. Firearm's the only one from the raid who remains on the Force, and Trevino will do anything to get revenge... subtly...
Eddy was his sidekick. Not many heroes were willing to risk being burned, nor were many willing to put up with his more... rebellious tendencies. But unlike him, Eddy follows most of the rules. What he struggles with is self-doubt and a strong desire for revenge. Much like himself, he rose to the role of leader... albeit it was a bumpy road to get there. He's proud of the hero Firearm turned out to be.
