CHAPTER 1 . . .
Once the Sun was shackled.
Once
Conceived into a stellar nursery owned by an anonymous organization, her childhood was filled with demands. Orders are to be followed. Egregious training was to be endured. Childrens were trained in loyalty towards the organization as a payment for taking them into care. And those who rebel are punished. At first, Elios’ weak heart couldn’t keep up with the rigorous system.
She soon learnt to be persistent. And had shown to be highly capable among her peers. The higher up trusted her to perform higher ranked tasks. She obeyed until a group of captive celestial children came. They were to be executed, and in preparation, a group of the organization had prepared a set of celestials to watch over them.
Elios’ weak and warm resurfaced. The captives shared their woes and comforted each of their worries. At that moment Elios’ heart melted. She didn’t understand why they hold hope in the face of death, but there’s something about it that she can sympathize with.
On the day of the execution, and at the time they were to be executed, Elios attacked her superiors and let the captives escape. The escape caused disorder within the organization, and with the help of Elios they escaped. She knew her disobedience would cause her to be executed too. But she had already accepted by then.
The next catastrophe to happen was not expected, but it was a miracle, or a payback perhaps, towards Elios. On the day of the execution, the organization was infiltrated by space pirates. The havoc prompted Elios to escape. In panic, Elios fought her way out and made haste. One crewmate saw her fight and took interest in her. She helped Elios and took her into her crew. She soon learned her name was Helena and she was the granddaughter of the captain.

The Sun was a pirate

She only followed orders at first. Her memories of her past still lingers clearly. It was the only thing she knew, and she obligated herself to repay them. The space pirate who saved her that day laughed at her and invited her to the crew’s break activities. Breaks and bonds are alien concepts to her so things often get awkward. The crew was nice to her and helped her show that she’s able and allowed to make decisions on her own.
Her bond with her crewmate grew closer as they sailed the seas of time, and her bond with Helena became special. They often hang out together and with their complementary personalities, they proved to be a good match. Elios soon developed feelings without Helena’s knowledge
Misfortune happens once again. The crew was attacked and infiltrated by another ship. Everyone struggled, including Elios. But no matter how much she called for help, no one would help her. In the midst of chaos Helena came for her.
