Homura Genkei (Japanese: 焔原型 Homura Genkei) is a Pyro character.

Homura Genkei is, probably, the only gunsmith from Inazuma with a legal permission to fabricate and carry a handgun, as well make research about anything related to it. The firearms he creates can be only used by people with visions, and the one he carries can be only used by him. Genkei spent some years at Fontaine where he joined to Fontaine's Research Institute and learned about its technology. After that, he went back to Inazuma just in time before the region closed its borders.

He is also Krone's older step brother from her dad side.

Trivia 

• Gerome and Krone are step-siblings from their dad side.
  • Krone's dad and Gerome's mom met each other at Inazuma in their younger days, but when she noticed she was pregnant they already separated ways since their relationship didn't last for too long since he had to go on a trip to Snezhnaya for work and he wasn't expecting to be back at Inazuma. 
  • Gerome's dad never held any kind of grudge and decided to raise her child alone. It was difficult for her because she was a single mother, but she still managed by herself to keep going.
