Rosette Fleurir is a Anemo character.

A Chanteuse from Fontaine known by her magnifecent and angelic voice. She is often invited to sing in lounges of luxury bars and restaurants, including art galleries, where only those with enough money and an exquisite taste in music and love of art can appreciate the beauty of her voice and the passion she puts into one of her songs.

"Miss Rosette is a well known singer from Fontaine because of her angelic voice full of passion, but also filled with melancholy. Anyone who hears her singing for first time will feel a mix of hope and sadness in their soul. Before she starts a song, she smiles and bows to her audience, but after the show ends and the lights turns off the shine of her eyes and smile will fade along."

Elegant, charming and serene. That's how most of the people would describe her.

Rosette shows herself to be a easily approachable person, making it easy for "her fans" to talk to her to give her their compliments or gifts. Although she also can be shy and can get easily flustered, Rosette is always kind to others. However, despite her gentle and seemingly innocent demeanor, Rosette "hides" a side of her that she mostly expresses through her sad and melancholic music, which in fact, that's the real her, but for others is just "her act". Or at least that's how she sees herself due to the long grief she has been living with all these years since she became a human.

Rosette can also come off as somewhat childlike at times when she gets really comfortable with someone. She will pout when something goes wrong, or to describe some things she uses noises and sounds, and moves her hands a lot. 

She is also a very caring person, empathetic, and compassionate, always asking others how are they doing in the day, as well asking them if they already had a meal or water.

A new destiny forged from a bed of roses, thorns, and a rusty sword.

"Oh, Lady Rosette? I have been lucky enough to witness one or another of her performances. She is very kind to everyone, specially with us! And she is always very appreciative of the compliments she receives. But when she is not in public, you can find her with a rather melancholy expression, as if she have been mourning for a quite long time, and I wonder if its because she sings too many sad songs. Many times I have tried to ask her what is wrong, but before I can speak to her she realizes my presence and she smiles again, asking me how i'm doing and then she leaves."

Whether it is in a restaurant, a bar, the Opera Epiclese, or even sometimes in the streets of the Court of Fontaine, you can't miss Lady Rosette's performances during the nights.

When the lights on the small stage come on and the spotlights illuminate the microphone, next to it you can find the charming presence of Lady Rosette, curtseying with a smile towards her audience, thanking them in advance for the performance that is about to begin. Elegant and beautiful, the Chanteuse will start her show.

Lady Rosette manages to leave everyone with chills all over their body, where even the Hydro Archon herself has been left speechless and satisfied when witnessing her performances at the Opera Epiclese. Once the performance comes to an end, anyone who is her fan will throw artificial un-thorned red roses to the stage, cheering what they just experienced. Lady Rosette will smile as she bows in gratitude, waiting for the lights to turn off so she can leave the stage.

But when this happens, not only the lights go off, but the shine of her eyes and her smile will also fade away.

No one knows exactly what's her story is as she tries to keep everyone away from her. But something is sure. She is always carrying a children's book of a fairy tale known as "L'épée du paladin" and is one of her only most appreciated objects. So don't even try to take it away from her.

Is pretty hard to find Lady Rosette off-stage as there are only two places she may be at. As a guest in a hotel, if her schedule is full for the week or in her house at the countryside somewhere at the NorthEast of the Court of Fontaine.

Character Stories

Most of the people at Fontaine who knows or have heard about Lady Rosette already knows that is not a human being despite looking like one since she has been around way longer that they can remember. Some rumors says that she appeared time after the calamity and Focalors took the place as the new hydro archon, some others says she has been around since the previous archon's reign. The veracity of these rumors remains as a mystery, but at least everyone agrees that Lady Rosette hides something.

Some people, specially gossips from those who supports Lady Furina, thinks she may be a descendant of Lochfolks of the previous Archon Lord of Amrita who sent Lady Rosette to spy her own people, others say that she is a siren since her voice attracts people and puts them into a trance. There are various of other rumors, whether are good or bad, going around about her. Despite all of this, she still has a lot of fans who believes she is just a gift from the heavens who was sent to fill them with hope through her songs, including Lady Furina herself.

But the truth about her is far away of what its said in the streets of the Court of Fontaine, and is because her real story is tied to a fairy tale known as "L'épée du paladin."

There was once a magic, sentient sword who fell in love with its owner.

The sword belonged to a very well renowned Paladin thousands of years ago. As a sentient weapon who was able to communicate with its owner, they used to talk a lot and spend days and days together, and the sword used to sing him at night. At some point the sword fell in love with the Paladin in secret, since because it wasn't human, the sword knew that it was only break the friendship it had with the Paladin thus still it remained completely loyal to him. The sword decided that as long as he kept "her" to his side, she was happy. The time passed, and the sword saw the Paladin get married, form a family, and even saw his children grow up. Until he was too old to continue in this life, so then, the Paladin died because of old age, making the sword fall into eternal sorrow, mourning him every day. She started oxidating with the time since she didn't want to obey anyone else until she was finally thrown away. Eventually the sword was found in the deep of a lake by a witch, who after hearing her story, deeply touched by it and noticing how her feelings where real, the witch decided to convert the sword into a half-human who wasn't never going to get old with the idea that, with this new body and the new life that she could achieve, she would not be able to rust and, in turn, would be able to find a new love that would give her the life she always wanted. But the years passed, the witch passed away, and the now human sword never found that love that she dreamed of so much.

They didn't talk again until days later when the notice of Neuvillette investigating a case regarding a Melusine that received a threatening letter was closed, and thanks to the traveller, he decided to ask Rosette to resume their talk because he noticed they had some things in common and maybe they could help each other. The talk led to Rosette get very strong headaches and fall into a deep sleep that lasted for a couple of days.

• Her sprint is similar to Hu Tao's, but instead of leaving a trace of butterflies, Rosette leaves a trace of anemo roses.
