I want more slugcats in my collection and I came up with a few ideas so yeah slugs
Zapper
Basic idea is that tail is like a bugzapper-- large creatures that try to attack them from behind are temporarily stunned by an electric shock. Centipedes, scavengers, and carnivorous plants are immune though. When attacked from above like from a vulture, they have about a 50% chance to stun. They need a little time to recharge after using the ability.
Batflies are attracted to the light this slugcat produces and might cause them to use up their stored charge-- However, batflies eaten this way provide a little more nutrition to the slugcat than eating them raw
When in a starvation cycle, they remain in low-power mode, and their energy is too low for generating electric shocks
They're slightly smaller than an average slugcat, and will sometimes get picked up by a scavenger in dark places and be carried around for a while to act as a light-- this is inconvenient if the scavenger is going in the opposite direction than the slugcat wants to go in
Friends with lantern mice
Requires more food than survivor slugcat
