- Feris von Ospren was created in August 2013 by Fable Blackmore/Kvroii.
- She previously appeared in an unreleased novella and two unreleased multi-book manga projects as a supporting character and antagonist. Her relationship with Tornin is based on her relationship with him in the latter manga project, which in turn was based on her relationship with a diffeerent antagonist from the previous one. Her theft is based on the theft she did as early as the novella.
