About

The goddess Ajesmia was worshipped by a race of people called Ferrarrians, ages ago, worlds away. The people were wiped out long ago, and the rest of their gods quickly succumbed and faded from existence. Ajesmia, however, refused to accept such a fate, and instead reached into other realms, drawing strength and stealing power from other pantheons to keep going. Eventually, she found herself in Vastia, ready to take down a peaceful night god--but what was seemingly an easy target ended up being her downfall, and though she dealt a killing blow on her foe, she fell in battle.

Or did she...? She lurks in the shadows, sending out Miasmas to do her bidding, bring her life force as she pieces herself back together. Once she's back to her full strength, she'll take down the rest of this pantheon, and subjugate a new race of people to worship her.

Notes

  • In my art style, Ajesmia is consisted of angles, angles, angles. Her hair, her body, her clothes--triangles all over.
  • Her hair goes down to the small of her back.
  • Her teeth are pointed
  • Her blood is a bright pink ichor.
  • She has sharp teeth, especially her fangs.
  • Typically found wearing a set of dark mauve clothes--an asymmetrical crop top, with a triangle shaped gold-trim boobwindow and mismatched legnth sleeves (left arm short, right arm long); low-waist pants with flared out bottoms; high heels; golden shoulder pads; golden crown with a pink gem.
  • However, you can draw her in other clothes/flower crowns/etc. Maybe even a crown of small planets?
  • Her ears and tails are doglike and pointed. She's based on a German Shepherd.

Personality

Friendly Reserved
Polite Blunt
Clever Foolish
Sensitive Tough
Brave Timid
Careful Reckless
Sincere Deceptive
Diligent Lazy
Calm Irritable
Humorous Serious

A cocky, feral motherfucker. Can, shall, and will destroy anything in her way, or just because she wants to--especially if she believes it can get her more power. Can be very cocky, but that's just what happens when you're as powerful as she is! Determined to become as powerful as possible, and willing to do anything to obtain that power. Sees mortals as nuisances at best, like ants on the countertop. Sometimes she can be so confident in herself, she underestimates her enemy.

Likes

Chaos and Fear

Whether she's causing it, or watching others do it, she loves loves LOVES the taste of chaos in the air, the sound of screams, the wails, the tears! Is there anything better than this? She feeds off chaos and pain like a leech drinks blood--the more potent it is, the more powerful the source, the more she enjoys it. She's not above sending people into neverending nightmares just to have a source of enjoyment--especially if it's another god. It's so potent, so... delicious...!

Sacrifices and Worship

The one thing she misses most from home--an endless deluge of worshippers vying for her favor, with all kinds of sacrifices--from the finest cuts of meat and first harvests to ritual blood letting and murders. She hasn't had it since the fall of the Ferrarians... but she'll get it back someday.

Control

Pulling mortals around like puppets on a string was always nice for a bit of fun--just a small portion of her influence was enough to send even the most valiant heroes into fits of murderous, chaotic rage. The only thing more fun than making them wrak havoc is watching their reaction when she lets them wake and see what they've done.

Charm/Flirting

Of course, directly using her godly powers to manipulate the mortals isn't always the most entertaining to go about it. She's quite the fan of shifting to a mortal form and using a bit of flirting to get even the most stalwart heroes to bend to her will, just for the hell of it. Not to mention flings with the rest of her pantheon...

Sex

You know what happens after so much flirting. She doesn't crave it as much as the mortals seem to, but she enjoys it well enough.

Iconography

Dogs and Wolves

Of course, the Vastians aren't familiar with what a Ferrarrian looks like--they were worlds apart, realms apart even. Back home, everyone was Ferrarrian--but she could transform into a giant wolf, her howls driving even the strongest men to insanity.

Crown

She's almost always depicted wearing a golden crown with a pink chaos magic gem imbedded within it. Some say its the source of her strength and power. Others see it as just an accessory. If she isn't directly wearing it, she's often seen with it attatched to her hip, or hanging off of her tail.

Poisons and Venoms

Though she doesn't have many direct animal associations, any creature with dominion over poisons or venoms is said to be an agent of Ajesmia.

Space

The more time she's spent wandering the cosmos, the more they've become tied to her. According to Vastian mythos, when the fated battle occured at the moon tower, the other planets in the solar system appeared so close in the sky that stardust fell to the ground, that you could see each crater in the moons' surface, that you could nearly reach up and touch some of the planets. Whether or not that's exaggeratd, well. You simply had to be there.

Misc. Icons

Powers

Godhood

As a goddess, Ajesmia possesses superior strength, shapeshifting, chaos manipulation, and can control/harness chaos and fear energy. She can grant boons. If she deems you worth it. Or if it can be entertaining for her.

Mind Control/Corruption

She can pull just about anyone under her sway if she so wishes, driving them into a fervor or to insanity. She can also direct them to do her direct bidding.

Healing

Can heal herself, but very slowly--with extensive damage, its an extremely long process, and after a certain amount of damage she'll be unable to restore herself. She could heal others--but rarely sees a need to waste her time.

Miasmas

Can create wisps of 'dark chaos energy' (usually taking the form of wolves, or clouds of hazy smoke) to go out and do her bidding. These Miasmas can outright drain the life force of people to bring to her, or possess people and give them access to chaos powers--but these people have no control of themselves, and their forms and energy are slowly consumed by the Miasma until they're eventually abandoned to have their energy taken to Ajesmia.

Creation

Can create any weapon out of chaos energy within instants, with a heavy preference for swords. Rarely uses this--her blasts typically get the work done.

Summary

65608925_diCqhc0mO2jiUFM.png

The Goddess of Chaos is said to have been created from the blood droplets caused by the first Ferrarrian murder, and has had a taste for violence ever since. She was welcomed into the pantheon of the Ferrarrian gods as one of their own, but feared even amongst her fellow gods. One of her favorite habits was watching the mortals that other gods favored, just to swoop in and drive them to insanity and ruin their lives--much to the pantheon's displeasure. She quickly gained her own cult of worshippers, who prayed for the chance to be possessed by her for even an instant to do her bidding.

Whether it was a misguided wish from a mortal, a stroke of bad luck, or something else, their world swiftly came to an end when a meteor struck the planet, killing all life forms on it within a few instants. Though each of them tried to create a new life form to inhabit the shattered, irradiated planet, none of them were successful. With no source of devotion for far too long, one by one each of the gods faded to nothingness, too noble and righteous to go looking elsewhere for worshippers.

But not Ajesmia.

Otherworldly Wanderer

Ajesmia refused to fade away without a fight. She killed the remaining three Ferrarian gods and absorbed their energy for the road ahead, before wandering off through the realms and the cosmos. She stopped by quite a few inhabited planets, many of which had their own pantheons that she killed. She'd kill gods, absorb their energy, enjoy worship and sacrifices from the mortals until she got bored, then wipe the world out and try again. None of their devotion tasted quite right, compared to the fervent passion the Ferrarians showed her.

By the time she found the Vastian realm, it had been a few hundred years of wandering. Even drawing near this realm, she knew it was just what she was looking for--the energy coming off this planet was almost eerily similar to what Ferraria felt like. Different, but familiar. She couldn't not try and claim it as her own--and after watching awhile, she knew which god to target first. A peace-loving, naive little god, who was far too busy playing instruments with his little star friends to notice her watching him.

It didn't go as planned. What should've been an easy battle quickly resulted in her death--or, something akin to a death. She wasn't down for the count--she was broken and beaten, but she wasn't going to down that easily. Sure, she'd have to start over with quite a disadvantage--at this rate, she'd have to suck the energy from mortals one victim at a time--butsoon. Soon she'd have the strength to take down the rest of this feline pantheon, and rule over this world as her own.

Niatryis

Enemy

She traveled through the realms, trying to find a being powerful enough for her to feed on, to steal its energy. A being with enough influence to subsist herself off of until she grew bored with it's worshippers. She found Niatryis. They destroyed one another.

Such a shame, really. Maybe, if he'd played nice, she would have left just enough of his essence to toy around with, to watch as she rendered his realm to nothing. Oh, well.

(Psst, an ironic crack ship quickly became a favorite AU ship of mine!)
