Half-Manifest: can grow bulletproof black and red scales on his arms, legs, and face, with black claws on his fingers and (if needed) toes, and a thick scaly tail that he can balance on. Eyes shift to gold or red depending on mood, and are catlike, helping him see in the dark. Originally painful to do, becomes painless with practice.
Full-Manifest: can shift into a Chinese dragon-esque creature, with a floofy mane, nearly uncontrollable, and painful to shift to. Picture Haku from Spirited Away but w/ different feet and more of a mane.
Shadow travel: can pull objects from one location to another through the shadows/shadow realm. Max size is a guitar before he passes out, improves with practice.
Regeneration: can die and come back to life, with his wounds healed, only the killing blow leaving a scar. Isn't aware he regens--just wakes up and assumes he passed out.

History:
Drayden Liu is the son of two supervillains, Duskar and Shina. That relationship in and of itself was abusive, and his father ran away with him to try and restart with a better life before he was eventually killed. Drayden was left stranded in the foster care system, which in his universe is really fuckin shitty, and he was tossed from abusive home to abusive home, sent to schools crawling with bullies, constantly running away and getting caught and dragged back. Got into trouble, knife fights, etc. Currently lives in another abusive situation, at another shitty school, but managed to make three friends somehow. Discovered his powers, and is sort of an antihero vigilante who defends people from threats—including those people deemed as ‘heroes’ in the day who are horrible at night. Believes deeply that society needs to change, and that its in the hands of him and his peers to start that change.
Not like he’ll tell YOU anything about that

Fond of meaty foods, fast food, cherries. Also snakes, other reptiles, his father's jacket, thunderstorms.
Afraid of rats.
