About

Eleezo grew up on copero, a young upstart Imperial cadet. He was always the odd one out there, goofy, relaxed, and not incredibly patriotic, unlike his peers. Having been pressured to join the empire to bring pride to his family, he was hardly invested- that is until he met Chi'ven'ra. She was a smart and witty cadet training in intelligence. They started a relationship and he was smitten. He loved their banter, her smile, how certain of her talent she was. He thought that just being with her made being forced into a job at the empire- well, not so bad. They got married two years later, with her just about ready to join the high ranking agents, and Eleezo having just been transferred to a job as a trooper. He hated it. Although he still thought being in the empire was worth it, to have met-his now wife, his opinion on the empire soured as he saw what they were willing to do for victory, while Chi'ven'ra was an imperial die-hard who saw no problems with their methods. This put a strain on their marriage, and with triplets on the way, Eleezo was desperate to sort things out. They couldn't. He overheard her discussing her latest mission, an assassination of a rebelling noble's young son- She didn't see the problem. He did. They divorced shortly after, Eleezo leaving the empire, wanting to anywhere imperials weren't. He always that his marriage would've worked out if their jobs didn't get in the way. Although he admits looking back it was rather naive to think that at the time.

He picked up a job as a smuggler, not having many credits to his name and still needing to provide for his children, who Chi'ven'ra got custody of. That was where he found his passion, a love of flying and traveling, meeting all sorts of new people- it made his feel... happier, even though the fog of sadness that clung to him from his old life. One he was never quite ready to leave behind. He adored his kids, even though he couldn't visit much. He'd fawn over their baby pictures and hang them all over the walls of the ship. Sure, he loved flying, but he still did everything for them. He always had his humor, which kept him going but also got him into more than a little trouble. He eventually started picking up jobs from the republic, flying below the radar to get medical supplies to troops behind the lines. Eventually, taking one big job- one he saw as a way to help put an end to the Empire's reign of terror and hasten the end of the war. It worked, but unexpectedly, he got a medal and credit for the part he played but this ruined all chances of him going back into imperial space to see his kids- ever. He never realized that his name would be brought up, or what that could mean. This crushed him, but wanting to protect his kids, to keep seeing them and being the hero they thought he was, was the only thing keeping him from joining the republic outright. With not much else left, Eleezo took only republic jobs from then on, doing his best to help them defeat the empire. He could never bring himself to join as a trooper or even captain. Too much hurt from his old life, too scared to be tied down and unable to explore the stars.

Moral Code

Eleezo is kind, but not unreasonable. He does his best to give others the benefit of the doubt but will not spare those who show no willingness to change and who he considers a threat to the galaxy. When he first started his job as a smuggler he was- well, very new to being his own boss. He was still inexperienced and hardly thought of how his actions affected others and always saw the best in people, was pretty easily conned as well. He didn't try to be overly righteous, either. He was a smuggler, after all, he had no part in the war. Disliked politics a lot. After starting to take jobs from the republic, while he had a distaste for how bossy they could be, did start caring more about what he could do for others, seeing how much the empire was hurting people- not just what he saw when he was a part of it. Now, having been working with the republic a long time, finding friends and enemies, yet still longing to see his kids again, he's grown a bit older and wiser. He's seen loved ones fall by his side in the war, he's grown protective, and after the betrayal from a close friend has no tolerance for those he thinks could cause harm to his allies, mercy no longer being a given. A much more war-torn and cynical man than he was when this all started.

Class Story Notes:

-Had only just started getting a taste for freedom and adventure when his ship was stolen, was heart broken, he couldn't afford another one and he needed to take care of his kids. -Honestly I love the smuggler storyline but I was super sick when I played it and only got the gist of what happened, and it didn't happen recent enough for me to make bullet points for it.
